Even more trauma

"Hey you" meredith said walking up and putting her arms around my waist from the back
"Hey haven't seen you since Tuesday" I said turning round and holding her
"Did you miss me?"
"I sure did do you....." At that moment both our pagers went off
"911 daycare" Meredith said
"Oh god the kids" we ran up the 4 flights of stairs to see Arizona and Alex carry Mark out in a baby cot with a tube in his throat
"What's happening to my boy?" Meredith asked panicking
"He had a seizure then his heart rate dropped so we're taking him to CT to see what's going on" Arizona said
"Oh god Derek our little boy is dying" she said crying into my shoulder
"Hey he's not dying but I'll go with them you go into the waiting room I'll be through soon" I said kissing her head
IN CT
"What the hell go save my boy" I shouted
I was walking through the ER towards Meredith with a sad look on my face I was going to try and say this in a way she wouldn't break down into monster tears but she realised by my face, she realised that our boy was gone.
"Oh god no why!" She shouted and fell onto her knees
"Meredith come here" I said and wrapped my arms around her but she refused and stuck her elbow into the side of my head ripping my stitches so I squeezed her harder and she calmed down
"What happened?" She asked softly
"He crashed in the CT and they couldn't get him back Alex is going to tell us why it happened"
"Alex what happened" she said standing up
"Well he must have hit his head during the crash because he had a slow brain bleed that sped up and his brain haemorrhaged this morning I'm sorry" he said holding her shoulder
"Thank you Alex I'm gonna go get someone to redo my stitches" I replied
"Ok" she said quietly
I asked Callie to redo my stitches and I caught her up
"It's all my fault I should have saw the signs Meredith will blame me" I said tearing up
"Derek no it's not your fault it could happen to anyone and she won't" she said finishing up my stitches and bandaging my head
"No I can't live with myself now that this happened" I said storming out the hospital with Callie behind me telling me to stop but I got in my car and drove off.

So Its great to be back from Germany but not so great for Meredith and Derek. Had to put more emotion in it but this will be the last big trauma for them for a while so enjoy!!
