MEREDITH POV
"MEREDITH MEREDITH wake up its Derek and the kids" Nancy said waking me up
"What's wrong?" I replied worried
"Dereks car was hit by a truck and it tumbled over there in the ER come on" she said running out
"Dr grey wait you can't go in there we need to tell you something sit down"
"What is it and where are my kids"
"Ehm Dr grey I'm so sorry but we couldn't do anything for your kids they were already gone when we got there"
"Oh god no no no no" I said breaking down into my hands while Amelia was holding my shoulder
"Dr Wilks he's crashing" Derek's doctor shouted from his room
"Oh no no no no" I shouted hitting the window
"Time of death 11:00 am" the doctor said through the window
"Meredith, meredith wake up are you ok" I woke up to Derek standing over me.
DEREK POV
I walked in with Izzie and the kids to see meredith tossing and turning so I woke her up
"Oh god Derek your alive"
"Of course I'm alive why wouldn't I be"
"Oh meredith your having them again it's maybe because your pregnant" Izzie said picking up bailey
"Having what?" My Mom asked
"Dreams about Derek dying, she had a few just after they got back together for good"
"Ehm Derek can I talk to you" Meredith asked getting up and I followed
"What's up?"
"Derek after all those times you have almost slipped away from me I have always worried about if I'm going to get a phone call to tell me that your either really hurt or your dead and I panic a lot Derek I don't want to lose you its just like what I said to Kepner after you got shot it took me along time to find you...and it took me a long time to know that I wanted you..to be married...to be your wife....to have your kids and I never realised that this would be a package with it grief and worrying and I now know that those are packages because I love you too much and I can't live without you in my life" she said with tears streaming down her face
"Meredith your not going to lose me I promise because I told you that I would die when I'm 110 years old in your arms so your stuck with me for a while" I said putting my hand on her cheek
"Derek, Meredith I have your moms discharge papers" Izzie said handing over a clip board
"Thanks Izzie" I said taking them from her and she followed us into the room
"So am I going home doc?" My mom asked
"Yes you are and its all thanks to your kids they fought for you the past few weeks"
my mom signed the papers and Lizzie, Kathleen and Amy took her out and I carried the bags but I grabbed Meredith's hand and walked over to Izzie
"So Iz have you ever thought about coming back to seattle" I asked
"Well after I saw you guys for the first time in years I realised how much I missed you all and I talked to my husband about moving back and he said it would be awesome to work under you because he's a neuro fellow here and he has always admired your work so we are planning to move in a couple of months"
"Well it will be awesome to have you back and we will be in town for about 3 weeks anyway so how about lunch you can invite your husband" Meredith said leaning on me
"Yea sounds good how does Wednesday sound we're both off"
"Sounds good see you there"
We walked off to catch up with Amy who was waiting on us with the kids
"Who was that mommy?" Zola asked holding Amy's hand
"That was your auntie Izzie she Is one of mommy and daddy's good friends and you will be seeing a lot of her and her daughter soon"
"Will she be my best friend?"
"Maybe because she is the same age as you"
Zola started skipping still holding onto Amy's hand and we went back to my moms house
