Chapter 32

Y/n's POV

As we were walking up the tower, Papa started waking up. "Wha... What happened?" Papa asked. Papa looked around. "The last thing I remember was spinning in circles." Papa said. He started to get nauseous on Simon's shoulder. "You're getting sick just from the memory!" Simon shouted. I giggled and looked at them as he set papa down. Simon explained what had happened with the fight before papa looked at me happily. "You managed to beat him?" Papa asked. I nodded. He hugged me and I winced at the pain from my burns. "What's up with your back?" Papa asked. He turned me around and saw the small burns I still had. "Did the owl person do this to you?" He asked. I nodded. "But it happened when I protected Happy from an attack." I said. I heard him sigh before he took off his vest and put it on me. "There, that should help against the wind." Papa said. I smiled and nodded as Simon looked at us. "I can't believe that you two are so calm about this." Simon said. 

Me and papa looked at each other before we shrugged. "I still want a rematch, though." Papa said. I sighed and shook my head. "First, we need to focus on Jellal. I'm sure Erza's on her way to meet him." Simon said. We looked at him and waited for him to continue. "She's got a score to settle with him, but I'm afraid she won't be able to beat him." Simon said. I watched as papa got upset about what he was saying. "You're not giving her enough credit." Papa said. 

"It's not that she's not strong enough. Deep down I know Erza wants to save Jellal." Simon explained. Papa looked at him confused and looked like he was going to ask a stupid question. "This is Simon. He's a childhood friend of big sis Erza's." I said. He nodded before. "I need you two to help Erza beat Jellal." Simon said. Me and papa shook our heads. "That's not happening." Me and papa said. 

"What!" Simon yelled. He slammed papa into the wall making a dent in it. "How can you turn your back on her?" Simon asked. I rested my hand on his arm before he let go of papa. "We're not turning our back on her. If she wants to settle the score, then we let her try until she can't do it herself." I said. Simon looked at me and sighed before turning around to continue leading us. He stopped and leaned against the wall. His breaths were quick as he tried to hide something. "You're hurt, let me see." I said walking up to him. He held his arm out and shook his head. "I'm fine, let's get to the top." He said. I looked at him worried about what wound he was hiding. When we got near the top of the tower we stopped in a room and rested for a minute. "You two need to keep going." Simon said sitting down. 

"What about you?" Papa asked. 

"I'll be fine here, but you two need to make sure she defeats Jellal. Promise you'll look after her." Simon said. We nodded and continued our way to the top. As we were running up to the top as a bright light came from the outside. Papa jumped over me as we were blinded by the light. After a few seconds pass the light faded before I felt a bunch of magic all around us. "What's going on?" Papa asked. He stood up and looked around at the walls. I sat up and looked at the walls. "It's like a lacrima." I said. We heard screaming coming from the top. "That's big sis." I said. Papa nodded and helped me up before we ran to the top. I saw big sis standing with her arms out being bound by a bind snake. A guy with blue hair which I assumed was Jellal used magic to pull part of the tower up and shoved big sis into the crystal. "Let's go." Papa whispered. I nodded as we quietly made our way over to where big sis was being pulled into the lacrima. "I got ya." Papa said as we pulled big sis out of the lacrima.  We looked at Jellal before landing on the floor. "Big sis is a big part of our family at Fairy Tail, and we won't let you touch her." I said.

"Natsu, Y/n." Big sis said looking at us.

"Why are you hanging with this loser?" Papa asked.

"Yeah, we have to get home so we can start working again and mama can pay for her rent." I said. Papa nodded in agreement. "You don't want to make her angry." Papa said.
