Sapphire's POV

Erza left me alone with Y/n while she went back to Lucy and Happy. I took off my scarf and held it in my lap. "I feel so useless right now, I couldn't protect Y/n and I can't really fight. What am I supposed to do for you Y/n?" I asked, looking at her sleeping form.

"Well, might I suggest learning more magic?" Someone said. I looked back to see Gray standing at the tent's entrance. "What magic could I learn?" I asked, looking up at him. Gray was silent for a moment before snapping his fingers. "You have wings, right?" Gray asked. I nodded, looking at him a little confused. "I see, you think she could learn transformation magic, huh?" Erza said entering the tent.

"Transformation magic? Do you really think I could learn that?" I asked. They both nodded, giving me a bit of a confidence boost. "Once we finish everything here, we'll introduce you to Mira, our guild's master of transformation magic." Erza said.

"Thank you for helping me, but for now I have to keep watch over Y/n." I said.

"Of course, stay safe while we're away." Erza said. I nodded and turned back to Y/n. The rest of the day went pretty smoothly, apart from the explosions that didn't seem too far away it was pretty quiet. As night came, I heard a roar come from the direction of the temple. The roar was loud enough to force me to cover my ears, but Y/n woke up and seemed in pain because of it. I uncovered my ears and quickly covered her's trying to block out the roar. Once the roar died down, I uncovered Y/n's ears, seeing that she was wide awake now. "What was that?" Y/n asked, almost yelling.

"I don't know but keep your voice down." I said. Y/n realized she was speaking louder because of the roar. "Sorry, that roar hurt my ears." Y/n said, almost whispering.

"You're fine, are you feeling better?" I asked. She nodded and slowly sat up by herself, I went to her back to help her up but she stopped me. "I c-can do it." She said. I nodded and watched her sit up, once she was sitting up I decided to have her try to move her arms. "Will you lift your arms for me?" I asked. She nodded and started raising her arms, the higher her arms got the more they shook. "Well, it looks like your recovering pretty good. Just try not to over use your arms." I said. She nodded, I felt something roll down my cheek as I looked at Y/n. "I'm sorry for worrying you, I will try my best to not use that spell again." Y/n said hugging me.

"Doesn't that hurt?" I asked. She nodded, and set me back on the ground. "Oh and to help you I'm going to learn transformation magic." I said.

"That's awesome, maybe I should learn some too." Y/n said.

"I guess you could, but you already have dragon slayer magic." I said. Y/n nodded and tried to stand up. "Hey, hey, hey you should still be resting." I said trying to get her to lie back down. Y/n didn't listen to me and stood up, she stumbled her way to the tent door and walked outside. "I can hear it, daddy is fighting for everyone on the island. Can't you hear it?" Y/n asked. I closed my eyes and tried to listen to what she was talking about. "I can't hear anything, you've got some amazing ears." I said.

Y/n's POV

"Even if you can't hear him, I can. He's protecting everyone." I said. The last thing I heard was two fists connecting before everything went quiet. "It seems we've won." I said. My legs felt weak suddenly forcing me to my knees. "Y/n!" Sapphie yelled running over to me.

"I'm okay, I just need to sit or lay back down." I said sitting on the ground. We waited for a while before I heard something happening where the village used to be. "Sapphire will you go check on the village?" I asked. She looked at me confused before nodding and flying over to the village. "Miss Y/n what was that roar?" Moka asked.

"I don't know, but I do know that my daddy defeated it." I said with a smile. After a few minutes Sapphire returned. "So I looked and the village appears to be back." Sapphire said.

"Really?" Moka asked. She nodded and everyone started packing up. One of the villagers came over to me and picked me up. "Thank you for helping me." I said. The villager smiled and nodded before following the other villagers back to the village. Once we got there I was set in the room that I had before it was destoryed. Sapphire came over and cover me with a blanket again. "Now please get some more rest, you're probably still drained from that spell." Sapphire said. I nodded and laid there listening to the villagers cheer about their village being restored. "You know sleeping would be better then just lying there awake." Sapphire said.

"I know, but I can't seem to sleep right now." I said. After a while I heard some more commotion outside before hearing daddy's voice. "They're back Sapphire." I said starting to sit up. The door to our room burst open revealing a concerned looking Big sis. "Y/n did you really try to stand up and move?" Big sis asked. I nodded sitting up the rest of the way. "Why would you try something like that?" Big sis asked sitting next to me.

"I heard daddy fighting something, and I heard him win." I said with a smile.

"I see, well we have one more thing to do. Do you want to come see?" Erza asked. I nodded and tried to stand up Big sis picked me up and rested me on her back. She walked outside and I saw everyone gathered around a tower. "Alright we're all set to destory the moon." Big sis said letting mommy take me. Big sis changed her armor and had daddy climb the tower with her, she summoned a spear and threw it having daddy hit the end of it. "There's no way they can do this." Mommy said.

"I know they can do it." I said. We watched as the spear disappeared from our sight and the moon start to crack. "See mommy they did it." I said. The moon shattered and revealed another moon. Big sis came down and explained how the 'Moon Drip' spell made a film above the island making the moon appear purple. The sailor that disappeared showed up again and they decided to throw a big party. Big sis held me in her lap as I slowly ate some food from the party they were throwing. "Big sis, why are you so protective of me?" I asked before taking a sip of water.

"I once had some friends that I counted as my brothers and sisters, and I couldn't protect them from evil. When I heard I was your big sister, I decided to do all I can to protect you." Big sis said. I took another drink of water feeling my magic slowly be restored and nodded. "Thank you." I said.
