Chapter 87 Catch up after Seven years

Y/n's POV

Celestia and I headed back into the party, which was still going strong before I saw big sis holding onto Max's shirt, tossing him a little, complaining about how someone could get married when she wasn't there. "What's going on?" I asked, walking up to Bisca and Alzack with Celestia next to me.

"Oh, you two are back. We just told Erza that we got married while you guys were gone." Bisca explained. Auntie Mira even complained a little about how she couldn't be there as well. "That's amazing. I'm glad you two finally got together." I said, smiling at them.

"Thanks." Alzack and Bisca said.

"Do you two have any children?" Lisanna asked, walking over to us.

"We have a daughter. We named her Asuka." Alzack answered. I smiled before noticing Celestia wondering off. She walked over to Reedus, who had changed quite a bit, losing most of his size over the last seven years, which was amazing. He handed something to her before I noticed she was shaking a bit. I was curious and walked over to her to see what was going on. She was holding a piece of paper in her hands which had an image of her, but looking a little older wearing a red dress, had a mature-looking face, long hair which wasn't tied up into twin tails before I noticed what she was looking at. "My chest..." Celestia complained. I giggled a little before she turned around, looking at me angrily. "Don't worry, I don't think that picture is your future self. I bet you'll be even more beautiful than that." I said, kissing her cheek. 

"Still didn't have to laugh at it." Celestia said.

"Sorry, can you forgive me?" I asked. She thought about it before shaking her head. "Not yet, but I'll think of something you can do to earn it." Celestia said. I sighed before nodding, since I knew it wasn't going to be easy. As we were standing there, the doors burst open, and some people walked into the guild. I sniffed the air, smelling the familiar scent of Lyon, Sherria, and Jura before turning to see them. "Welcome. May I help you?" Kinana asked.

"Wonderful, it seems the rumors were true." Jura said.

"Who are these bozos?" Elfman asked.

"I think I know." Auntie Mira said.

"Hello my lovelies! I'm glad to hear your deaths were exaggerated." Sherria said. Toby made some dog noises, which confused me a little. "You appear to be in great health." Jura said.

"The sentiment is a little redundant when they haven't aged in seven years." Yuka said. 

"You've barely been back two days and you've already trashed the place." Lyon said. Everyone turned to look at them as they made their comments. "No way." Gray said.

"It's Lamia Scale." Mom said.

"Yeah, Blue Pegasus and Lamia Scale helped us search for Tenrou Island longer than anyone else would." Max said.

"We appreciate it." Big sis said.

"Guess we owe you one, man." Gray said. 

"I'd love to take you up on that, but I've got seven years on you and I'm not the kind of guy who'd takes advantage of children." Lyon said, smugly. Gray made a quick comment about that before they sat down to join us for a little while. Everyone was still partying while Wendy and I stood off to the side watching as everyone partied. Lyon walked over, smiling at me. "Well, well, well. If it isn't the two love dragons." Lyon said. 

"Oh hey, Lyon." Celestia said.

"How's it going?" I asked.

"Great, we're happy you're back with us. Also, I was asked to drop something off to you when you returned Y/n." Lyon said, pulling an envelope out of his coat. I took the letter from him before opening it and finding an invitation to an apartment near Lamia Scale. "What's this?" I asked.

"Don't know. Dacoda just asked for me to drop it off to you." Lyon said, before turning and heading off with the others. I looked at the invitation before Celestia looked over at it as well. "So, thinking about going?" Celestia asked.

"Yeah, it'd be nice to catch up with Dacoda after seven years. Technically, he's older than us now." I said.

"I know, he was, what? Eleven, when we disappeared?" Celestia asked. I nodded before placing the letter back inside the envelope that I was happened. "How about we go tomorrow? We should hang here until later and go to Fairy Hills for the night." I suggested. Celestia nodded as we continued watching as everyone else continued to party before Celestia got up to go talk with everyone while I stayed back. "Seven years... I wonder if Dacoda's finally stronger than me." I said, looking up at the ceiling. After everything settled for the night, we headed to Fairy Hills, where we learned we needed to pay seven years of back rent. The next day, Celestia and I set out for Dacoda's apartment. It took a while since we were low on funds, but we made it around noon to the apartment. I stepped forward and knocked on the door. As I finished knocking, someone opened the door before I smelled the familiar scent of Dacoda. "Y/n? Wendy? What are you guys doing here?" Dacoda asked. He was easily taller than me now, standing around six feet tall (182cm roughly), a muscular build, messy brown-blonde hair (similar look to Gajeel's), wearing a jean jacket with a tank top under it, leather pants and a pair of boots. "Woah, you sure grew." I said, looking up at him. Dacoda laughed before nodding and inviting us inside. Celestia and I walked inside before he led us to a living room. "So I guess Lyon dropped my letter off to you?" Dacoda asked. 

"Yeah, yesterday actually. I'm glad you sent it with Lyon. I was actually getting curious about how you were doing." I said.

"Yeah, I was hoping it'd reach you soon once I heard Lyon was going to visit Fairy Tail. You two haven't changed a bit since that week seven years ago." Dacoda said. I smiled and nodded before hearing a door open as someone came out from a hallway. "Hey Dacoda... Oh, you have guests." A woman said. Celestia and I looked up at the woman, confused. She was around five feet four inches tall (around 163cm), silver hair that ended around her mid back, black eyes, slender body, pale skin, and she was wearing a black tank top and shorts. "It's okay. These two are my friends from Fairy Tail. Well, actually they're dating like the two of us." Dacoda said, turning to look at the woman. Celestia and I were stunned as we looked at each other before turning back to Dacoda. "You two are dating?" I asked. Dacoda looked at me before laughing. "Well yeah. Of course I am. I'm not eleven any more. Wendy, Y/n, this is Luna. She's my girlfriend who I met when I moved to Lamia Scale. She uses Size Manipulation magic." Dacoda said.

"Oh! You're the two love birds that Dacoda would go on about. Well, guess I could say love dragons, since both of you are dragon slayers." Luna joked, joining us in the living room. Celestia sighed as I laughed about us being called "love dragons."

"Sorry Wendy, we both ended up with the childish jokers are our partners." Dacoda said. 

"Hey!" I said, pouting a little. Dacoda and Celestia laughed as Luna and I looked at our partners. After that we started talking about why Dacoda left the guild, which he explained as wanting to improve his magic and being around the guild hall while everyone on Tenrou was gone left him with bad memories of the guild being more lively. That's when he moved to Lamia Scale, where he got some training with Lyon and ended up meeting Luna while at the guild. The two of them had been dating since they were sixteen before I remembered the mark that appeared on Celestia's and my arm. "Hey Dacoda, I have a really random question for you." I said. Dacoda hummed a response before looking at me. "Have you ever seen this mark before?" I asked, lifting my sleeve to show him the mark that I had. Dacoda got up and walked over, studying the mark. "I've seen it somewhere, but I'm not sure where. Give me some time and I'll see if I can't dig up the information again." Dacoda said. I nodded before noticing the sun was setting outside. Celestia and I said our goodbyes with Dacoda and Luna before heading back to Magnolia to take a few jobs so we could earn some money.
