Chapter 46

Y/n's POV

As we were looking out over the edge of Nirvana, I heard something happening near the center of Nirvana. There were a few explosions before I heard the roar of something. "What is that horrible sound?" Carla asked, covering her ears. I smiled as I looked towards where the roar was coming from. "Papa's angry. Whoever decides to fight him now is going to lose." I said. 

"We should probably head over to see if anyone's hurt or not." Wendy said. I nodded as we started walking over to where the sound of fighting was. As we got closer to where the fight sounded like it came from, it sounded like another fight started going on. I tried to pinpoint what was going on by sound, but I couldn't figure out exactly what was going on, but the second fight was pretty big. When we finally arrived at where the fight was, the sounds came to a stop. "Hey!" Wendy shouted as we saw mama, Gray, and Jura along with Brain laying on the ground. "Just as I thought, only those hooligans could cause such a ruckus." Carla complained.

"At least they were easy to find because of it." I said. Happy was happy to see Carla and tried to get up before falling back to the ground. "We're in trouble. I think this thing is headed towards my guild for some reason." Wendy said, looking at Gray. 

"Don't worry, everything's going to be fine." Gray said, motioning towards Brain. Wendy looked down and saw him laying there. "His buddy, the snake charmer, is lying over there." Gray added. I looked at Brain and pouted a little. "Aw, man, I wanted to be the one to beat him up." I complained. 

"Wow." Wendy said.

"I haven't had any fights yet." I complained, drawing circles on the ground. Wendy came over and tried to console me as I sat there. "From what we can tell, this creepy Brain guy is the one controlling Nirvana. So the city should stop any moment." Mama explained.

"It doesn't sit well with me. If he's down, did you ever find out his reasoning for targeting our guild?" Carla asked.

"No, I think it's just cause it's what villains do." Gray said.

"I still have some lingering concerns, but the worst is over." Jura said.

"No, I don't think so..." Papa said. I looked over and saw how sick he was looking sick. Just looking at him almost made me feel sick as well. "Guys, please stop this thing." Papa begged as he almost threw up. 

"Oh, you poor guy, have you been poisoned too?" Wendy asked.

"I think papa's motion sick." I said.

"That reminds me, should you be...." Mama started. I looked back and saw Sapphire and Gray quieting her. I looked at them confused as mama just looked at me. "It's nothing." Sapphire said. Carla scolded happy for being too weak to stand. I giggled and walked over using the little healing magic I had to heal Happy from the poison. Once that was done I walked back over to where everyone else was standing. We decided to head to the top of the tower in the middle, but I was forced to carry papa since everyone else was going to struggle with it. We got to the top and started looking around while Wendy and I stayed near papa since he hadn't recovered yet. I could hear them talking about how someone was supposed to control Nirvana while the pilot was down for the count. "Man this sucks, I was almost positive that one we beat Brain this hunk of junk would stop moving." Gray complained.

"I was too." Mama agreed.

"What should we do Y/n? I cast a spell to counteract the venom, but Natsu's still sick." Wendy asked.

"Natsu and vehicles don't mix very well together." Happy said.

"That is so pathetic." Carla complained. 

"I really don't think my stomach wants to be inside me anymore." Papa complained.

"He's motion sick?" Wendy asked.

"Yeah, papa always gets like this on vehicles." I said.

"Oh in that case. I'll cast a spell that retores his sense of balance. Troia." Wendy said. Papa opened his eyes before jumping up. "Yeah! I'm back! I feel a million times better." Papa said.

"I'm glad I thought that might work." Wendy said.

"You're a life saver Wendy. You've gotta teach me that spell sometime." Papa said.

"But it's my sky magic, sorry." Wendy apologized. Papa looked at me before looking confused. "Something wrong papa?" I asked.

"Yeah, why...." Papa started before being shut up by Sapphire.

"No more talking for you." Sapphire said. 

"What is going on?" I asked, looking at papa, Gray and mama. Sapphire flew up in front of me and looked me in my eyes. "Nothing at all. Just remain the way you are." Sapphire said. I looked at Wendy who kind of shrugged before thinking about something. "Y/n, you're a dragon slayer too right?" Wendy asked. I nodded, still completely confused about what was going on. "Oh if you're anything like Natsu then shouldn't you be getting sick from riding on Nirvana?" Wendy asked. Sapphire was flying over, but was stopped by Carla from keeping Wendy quiet. I think about it and thinking of Nirvana as a city just made sense. "Now that I think about it, since I first saw Nirvana I just thought it was a regular city." I said. The more I thought about it the more I realized that it was basically a vehicle and I started getting sick. "Oh no." I complained. I rushed over to the edge of the tower and threw up. 

"I was hoping to avoid this. That's why I was quieting everyone who was bringing it up." Sapphire said. 

"Oh I'm sorry!" Wendy apologized. She rushed over and used her Troia spell on my restoring my balance. I still felt a little sick, but was feeling better thanks to Wendy's spell. "Thank you, Wendy." I said, smiling at her. Papa was asking for mama to summon a spirit, but she didn't have one that he wanted. Wendy was still worried about the fact that we still haven't figured out how it's still operating. Wendy was starting to worry as we continued to get closer to her guild. "Don't worry, we'll find a way to save them. We won't let this thing hurt your friends. We owe you that much. We'll stop it. We promise." Papa and I said, looking determined.
