Chapter 38

Y/n's POV

I was getting ready to head out for the day when I saw mama come out of the bathroom wearing what looked like a maid outfit. I did my best to hold back my laughter, but I could and started laughing about how silly mama looked. "What? Do I look bad in this?" Mama asked. 

"No, you look great, mama. Why are you dressed like that, anyway?" I asked. 

"It's for a job. I even got an outfit for you." Mama said.

"No way am I wearing that for a job." I said. 

"I wouldn't let her wear that either." Sapphire said.

"Aw come on. We're working for a restaurant." Mama said.

"Still no way am I wearing that." I said.

"Alright, but do you at least want to come with us to the job?" Mama asked. I shrugged and nodded, getting a bag ready to go. We headed out and met up with Gray, papa and big sis before heading to the restaurant that was in the job. When we got there, I decided to look around town some before heading back to the restaurant to head home. When I got back, I saw papa stuffed with food and mama had changed back into her normal clothes. "Hi mama, how was the job?" I asked, walking up to everyone.

"It went great." Mama said. 

"She's right. You should've joined us and helped out some." Big sis said.

"I was not going to be caught wearing that." I said.

"The only person you want seeing you in something like that is probably Wendy." Sapphire said.

"No..." I said, trying to hide my embarrassment.

"Who's Wendy?" Big sis asked.

"No one!" I quickly answered. 

"Well who ever this Wendy is they'll have to beat me in a fight before they get anywhere near you." Papa said. 

"Shut up, papa." I said, hiding my red face.

"Natsu. Leave her alone." Mama said. Big sis started asking about the magic council and Mr. Yajima told her about the rumors that he had heard since he left the council. Papa and Gray were confused when mama told that mr Yamjima was once a member of the magic council. After They talked some more about rumors before Yajima told Gray and papa to be careful if the new magic council was formed. He told them about his relaxed attitude about Fairy Tail before warning them about their destruction while out on jobs. We headed back to the guild waving and mr Yajima as we rode away on the wagon. He asked us to say hello to gramps since he's been busy with work. We got back home in the night and we all went to bed easily, but the next day when we got to the guild Mira was looking at a chart that she asked Reedus to draw up with his light pen. Mira was explaining how the dark guilds worked and how there were three big main dark guilds that controlled everything in the background. Other dark guilds even answered to the three bigger ones before Mira brought up that the dark guilds have been more active recently. 

Papa was eating and kind of not paying attention to what we were talking about. There were a couple that I recognized since we had taken them on before Juvia mentioned that she and Gajeel had dealt with a few relating to Oracion Seis. Mama got a little worried about the three bigger dark guilds coming after us for taking out a few of their smaller ones. Wakaba and Macao tried to get her to not worry about it, but I could tell mama was still worried a little. "Speaking of Oracion Seis. Word has come down that we must destroy them." Gramps said, grabbing our attention. We turned around and saw him standing in front of the door to the guild hall. 

"What?" Everyone asked. It was silent for a second before Mira spoke up welcoming Gramps back and hoping he had a good time at the conference. "But master, what do you mean?" Big sis asked, walking up to him.
