Chapter 51

A/n: I know this is an odd chapter. Please understand that I'll be skipping the arc where Natsu is told about a dragon sighting. Don't worry though, I'll be updating next week with a new chapter and it'll actually be good.

Y/n's POV

We finally made our way back from our quest to take down Nirvana. The boat ride back was rough and Wendy managed to help me through the trip even though most of the time I was throwing up from motion sickness. When we got back to the guildhall, big sis introduced Wendy and Carla to the guild. Everyone was excited to meet her and were happy that she was here. Everyone was also excited to hear that she was a dragon slayer and how our guild had five dragon slayers. "Wow, everyone's excited to hear that I'm a dragon slayer." Wendy said, walking up to me. I smiled and nodded before hearing someone running. As I turned to find out who was running before I got tackled to the ground again. "Y/n! You're back!" Dacoda shouted. I groaned as I looked up at Dacoda, who was clearly happy to see me. "Yeah, I am. I'm happy to see you too, Dacoda." I said, patting his head. I looked up and saw a worried look on Wendy's face as she looked down at me.

"Y/n? Are you okay?" Wendy asked. She sounded a little annoyed and upset before Dacoda got off me. "So how was it? Was it hard to fight Nirvana?" Dacoda asked. I nodded as I managed to lift him off of me so I could sit up. "It was really hard, anyway. Remember Wendy?" I asked. Dacoda nodded before looking behind me and seeing Wendy standing there. Dacoda started looking grumpy as he looked at Wendy standing behind me. "Something wrong? Did you hurt yourself?" I asked.

"No, I'm okay. Just surprised to see Wendy here." Dacoda said. I smiled and nodded, happy that the three of us were here together now. "Let's go get you a guild mark." I suggested. Wendy nodded as I led her up to auntie Mira to get her guild stamp. Wendy was super excited to meet auntie Mira before she looked at me. "Y/n... Is she the one?" Auntie Mira asked. I blushed as she looked at me. "M-maybe..." I answered. Auntie Mira smiled at me as Wendy just looked between the two of us. "Ooo~! I'm so excited to meet you Wendy. I'm someone Y/n came to when asking about dating a girl." Auntie Mira said. 

"Auntie Mira!" I shouted as she giggled.

"Dacoda sweetie, will you take Y/n and go talk with some others while I talk with Wendy here?" Auntie Mira asked. 

"Sure!" Dacoda said. He grabbed my hand and pulled me away from Wendy and auntie Mira. I looked back and saw them talking for a bit before Dacoda was in front of me. "So tell me about Nirvana." Dacoda said. I tried looking around him at auntie Mira and Wendy. "Nope, Mira told me to talk with you and others." Dacoda said, blocking my view.

"But..." I started. He shook his head before I sighed and started talking about Nirvana and everything that happened with Oracion Seis. "Woah, that's crazy. You entered something called Dragon Force and used it to beat Zero?" Dacoda asked. I nodded before he looked at me excitedly. "Can we spar and see if you can enter it again?" Dacoda asked. I sighed and nodded. "Sure, sounds like fun. Let's try tomorrow, though. I'm still a little tired from the fights." I said. Dacoda cheered before looking at me again happily. "Oh, I forgot to mention. Gajeel and I started training together again. I even managed to beat him a couple of times while you were gone." Dacoda said.

"Great job! I'm happy for you. Are you two getting along again?" I asked. Dacoda sighed and shrugged a little. "A little, but Levy is trying to get us together again. She's been great at helping take care of me too. She'll invite me on missions and stop by my place in Fairy Hills to make sure I'm doing okay." Dacoda explained. I smiled and hugged him. "That's amazing. I'm happy you're getting along again." I said. He nodded before I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned behind me and saw Wendy who was blushing and looking away from me. "Are you okay, Wendy?" I asked, getting up.

"Y-yeah. I'm okay. Just need something...." Wendy said. I nodded and stood up before Wendy leaned forward and pressed her lips against mine. My face heated up as a huge blush crossed my face before I heard everyone clapping and saw Mira using a lacrima to record what just happened. Wendy broke the kiss as she looked at me and smiled. "Thank you for that, but I do have one question for you. Would you be my girlfriend?" Wendy asked. I just looked at her still stunned by the kiss as my blush remained on my face. "What?!" Dacoda shouted. I snapped back to reality when Dacoda shouted before I looked at him. "Dacoda? What's wrong?" I asked.

"It's just... I... I liked you too." Dacoda said. I looked at him and realized what he meant. "I'm sorry. I know this might sound rude, but honestly, you're like a little brother to me." I said. Dacoda sighed before nodding. "I-I know, I was just hoping that I could maybe date you one day." Dacoda said. I smiled and gently patted his head before hugging him. "I'm sorry, but you're not the one for me. I know one day you will find someone though." I said. He nodded and smiled before looking at Wendy who was still waiting for me. "She'll be your girlfriend." Dacoda answered for me. I was stunned to hear that before I turned around and stood up looking at Wendy. "He's right. I'll happily be your girlfriend." I said. Once I said that the guildhall erupted into a roar of cheers as everyone congratulated me and Wendy on getting together. Before I saw Dacoda smiling at me and giving me a thumbs up letting me know he was happy for me. I gave him a sad smile hoping that he'd find someone to get with soon, but I wasn't sure how fast that'd happen.
