Erza's POV
After that memory faded, there was a golden light all around me. "What is this place?" I asked myself. I looked around for a second. "Am I still in the lacrima?" I asked myself. The surrounding feeling wasn't the same as when I was in the lacrima. The golden light slowly faded before I turned and saw master and everyone standing in front of a grave. I looked at the group, who were gathered at the grave. "Does this mean I'm dead?" I thought.
"Erza Scarlet touched many lives. Her heart was as boundless as the skies above. The sword she used shone vibrantly as she used it to protect those who loved. She moved with the grace of a fairy, and her beauty rivaled even mother nature. It's a painful reminder that love can give you strength, but losing that love can make you powerless." Master said. I watched as the sadness they felt only seemed to increase as time passed. "Our family will never be the same with Erza." Master said through his tears. I watched as some council members walked towards my grave, giving me a seat among the Ten Wizard Saints. Everyone looked at them with sadness on their faces. "I've had enough of this!" Natsu shouted. He charged forward towards my grave before kicking the flowers that were resting on it off. "I can't stand back and watch as everyone goes through with this." Natsu said. The same fire that drove him to fight for me was still in his eyes.
"What do you think you're doing?" Master asked.
"Please calm down, Natsu." Lucy said.
"How dare you!" Gray shouted, charging towards him. A few of the other guild members also charged at him. "There's no way that Erza's dead, we all know it." Natsu said. The members held him down as he struggled under their grip. "I sacrificed myself to make the future better for everyone, but that's not what's happening." I thought as some tears formed in my eye. I looked at everyone again, seeing the sadness strewn across all their faces. "There's no way that I could have seen this happening." I said, feeling their sadness myself. I listened to their cries and sobs for me while Natsu continued to struggle. As I was looking at everyone, I noticed that Y/n was missing from the group. "Wait... Where's Y/n? I see Sapphire, but she wouldn't go anywhere without Y/n." I thought. The golden light returned before my surroundings changed. I appeared in the East Forest, I saw Y/n sitting on the edge of the river with tears streaming down her face. "Why'd you have to go big sis?" She asked. I looked at her as my tears began to fall as well. "Why!" She screamed. A huge explosion happened in the river making it stop for a moment before it returned to it's natural flow. "I have all this power and none of it helped me save you." She said.
I saw Porlyusica watching from a distance before walking up to her. "Child I think it's best you return to Magnolia for Erza's funeral." She said. Y/n stood up and started to walk away from her. "Leave me alone. If I have anyone else care about me they'll just end up leaving too." Y/n said. I ended up following Y/n as the rain even avoided her because of her sadness and anger. She found a tree close by, but out of sight from Porlyusica before punching it and breaking the tree's trunk. "It's just like Kaida." She said. After I watched her reaction the golden light returned before I turned and saw hands reaching out for me. I heard waves crashing into something before I opened my eyes to see Natsu and Y/n. Natsu was carrying me and everyone who made it out of the tower were running over to us. "You both saved me again." I said.
Y/n's POV
Big sis finally opened her eyes before papa fell to his knees doing his best to still hold her. "We feel the same way you do about our family." I said.
"Promise us you won't do anything like that again." Papa said.
"I won't." Big sis said.
"You need to promise!" I shouted. Me and papa were sobbing before she brought both of us into a hug. "I promise, thank you. Natsu, Y/n. This has taught me an important lesson. You don't die for your friends, you live for them." Big sis said. We sat up and everyone came over and hugged her. After that we made our trip back to the resort. Once we got back papa passed out as soon as he got to his room. For the next three days he didn't wake up to do anything, I was just sick and tired all the time not enough to make me want to sleep though. "I can't believe that Natsu's been asleep for three days." Mama said.
