Chapter 64

Y/n's POV

"Let's do this Salamander." Gajeel said.

"Great... I have to team up with you again." Dad complained. 

"Quit your whining, will ya? We can settle our score after we're done knocking this old guys' teeth in." Gajeel said. 

"I'm all fired up now!" Dad said. 

"I would love to see you try." The king said.

"I'll lend a hand." Wendy said, as she started casting magic. She cast a couple of spells on the three of us before launching us towards the king's robot. As we were flying towards the robot, it charged up an attack before firing it at us. The three of us easily dodged the attack because of the speed boost that Wendy gave us with her spells. "Woo-hoo! We're really flying!" Dad shouted. We were flying around the robot landing different dragon slayer magic attacks against it, knocking it back and forth. "I don't understand what's happening here. Their attacks shouldn't affect me. Why is the Dorma Anim taking damage?" The king asked. I landed on top of the robot's head and looked down at it. "Being a king, I thought you would've already figured out why our attacks did damage to the robot." I said, landing another attack on the head and knocking it towards the ground.

"Come on, it should've fallen by now." Gajeel complained. 

"It's gonna be tough." Dad called.

"Just keep fighting." I said.

"Let me help some more!" Wendy called. Wendy cast another one of her support magic spells for us to use while facing the king. "Awesome, I feel stronger!" Dad said, clenching his fists.

"That's because this is an attack enhancement spell." Wendy explained.

"You ready to crush this old guy?" Gajeel asked.

"Yeah, let's get to it." I said.

"Nonsense, why is their magic power increasing all of the sudden?" The king asked. The three of us continued our assault on the robot before a patch of ice formed on its feet, keeping it stuck in place. "Sorry I'm late!" Dacoda called, flying in towards the robot. 

"It's her. You're done for brat!" The king said. The robot turned towards Wendy before I rushed over in front of her. "Brace yourself." I said. The robot launched an attack from behind itself firing towards the two of us. I set up the Water Dragon shield which easily stopped the magic weaponry from getting close to us. "Thank Y/n." Wendy said. 

"No problem. I'll stop any attack that's aimed at you." I said. As the dust settled the king saw us before two more missiles were launched Dad rushed over to stop the missiles, but they blew up before they could even reach us. The missiles engulfed dad in flames as the king started laughing. "It's about time you lowly wizards learned your place! You couldn't slay a dragon if it laid down before you!" The king shouted. Dad started eating the flames while Gajeel was eating the Dorma Anim's tail. "Coda! Can I borrow some ice?" I called. A pillar of ice came out of the ground in front of me. "This enough?" Dacoda asked, walking up next to Wendy and I. 

"Yup. Dad!" I called. Dad jumped back towards us melting the ice that Dacoda made turning it into water. I drank the water recharging my magic as I did. "Man that was some seriously natsy tasting fire. Don't think I've ever tasted a flame that gross before." Dad said.

"The iron too. Bad stuff, but even so..." Gajeel said.

"We're starting to feel like we've got a real fire in our bellies!" The five of us called. Dad and Gajeel looked at each other like the other was copying them. "Unbelieveable! Are all Earthland wizards this powerful?" The king asked.

"Man, this thing's hardcore. No wonder they call it a dragon." Dad said.

"That ain't a dragon. Just a dumb old man hiding inside a big ol' hunk of junk." Gajeel said.

"He's out here alone without any of his guards to protect him. So all we have to do is take that thing down." Wendy said.

"Sounds easy enough." I said. The Dorma Anim was gaining more magic pwoer absorbing what little magic was in the air. "I shall rob you of the will to fight! You'll be begging me for  mercy. Witness the power of Dorma Anim! Black Heaven!" The king shouted. The Dorma Anim released a horrible sound before I looked up at the robot seeing that it had changed a bit. "I got you now!" The king called. The robot came to attack knocking dad into the air. As dad was in the air the robot attacked sending him into a wall. Dad jumped from the wall attacking the Dorma Anim before getting launched back again. "No! Natsu!" Wendy called. 

"He hit that thing with his arms attack and it didn't even flinch." Gajeel said.

"Can you feel it? This absolute magic power! It's spectacular! Don't bother falling toyour knees and begging for your lives, stay right where you are. So I can watch you tremble in fear! You can't stop me! I'm the one dragon you cannot slay!" The king said, laughing. The king hit the ground releasing a bunch of ths stored up magic from the Dorma Anim. I tried activating the Water Dragon's Shield, but it barely had time to form as the magic hit us. "Can't you see you're just wasting energy? There's no way you can defeat my Dorma Anim! I have complete control over the magic power in this world. Therefore I can use it however I pelase!" The king said.

"You should share it with your people rather than hogging it all for yourself! You greedy geezer!" Gajeel said.

"If you think you're indestructible than I got news for you! You and that phony dragon of yours are about to go down!" Dad shouted.

"Sky dragon Roar!" Wendy shouted. Her attack was stopped by the king's shield that he had on Dorma Anim. "How many times must I tell you not to waste your magic power. I hate to think about how much your attacks might be effecting my supply." The king said, laughing.

"What do you mean your supply?" Dacoda asked. 

"Our magic power belongs to us. There isn't anyone else who can use it!" I shouted.

"It's just a matter of time! Your lives and powers will be mine are my spoils of war!" The king shouted. 

"Not if we stop you!" Dad shouted.
