Chapter 85

Y/n's POV

After returning to camp and resting a little, Gramps stood up on the top of some crates before saying that he had an announcement. We all looked up at him before he started talking. "Be prepared. Change is on the horizon. I have a very serious announcement I need to make. Once we leave Tenrou island and return to the guild... All female members will be required to wear uniforms, nurse outfits and school swimsuits galore!" Gramps said, jumping up and down. 

"In your dreams, you perv!" Mom shouted. I heard big sis talking about wearing her swimsuit before I imagined Celestia in a cute nurse outfit before shaking my head and using my water magic to surround Gramps' head in a bubble of water. "There's no way I'm going to allow that." I said. 

"Get serious. If you don't say it, then I'll have to." Auntie Mira said, looking upset at Gramps. I released my magic so he wouldn't drown. "Can't an old man have some fun? Party poopers." Gramps complained. After that, Gramps took a deep breath before speaking up again. "I'm going to have to cancel this year's trial." Gramps said. I sighed, a bit relieved that Gramps decided against continuing the trial. "That's good news. Besides, I wouldn't have let you continue anyways." Celestia said, as we sat listening to the guys complaining about it being canceled.

"Yeah, I don't think it'd be good either." I agreed. Everyone was talking about it and bringing up the points that they had against continuing the trials. Each person was slowly beginning to accept Gramps' decision on canceling the trials before dad spoke up. "Hey! What's with all the whining, huh? You all sound like a bunch of toddlers. If you babies want to throw in the towel, that's fine by me, cause that means I'm the winner by default. Go ahead and make me S-Class! I'm the last one standing, right?!" Dad shouted.

"Fine then, if the boy won't listen to reason. Alright Natsu, I'll make an exception and let you take the final test. If you can defeat me, I'll promote you right here and now." Gramps said. I turned, looking back to see dad lose the fight that he picked. "So let's do this thing. You're looking at the newest S-Class member. I am not gonna hold back gramps! I'm all fired up n..." Dad started. Gramps easily beat him with a single punch from Gramp's Giant magic, making his fist huge to pin dad against a tree and knocking him out. I giggled seeing dad held there against the tree. "I was so close...." Dad mumbled out. 

"So what's Laxus like?" Celestia asked.

"He's actually really nice, but when I first joined the guild, he was kinda mean. He wanted the place to get stronger, but that didn't pan out as well as he had hoped." I explained. 

"Don't believe the rumors you hear about Laxus. Deep down, he's a decent guy." Big sis said, walking up behind us. 

"You think so too?" Celestia asked, looking up at big sis.

"He's just a little bit of a slacker. That's all." Big sis said.

"Really? I guess I should meet him myself." Celestia said.

"It's not a bad idea." I added. After a while, big sis went to talk with Gramps before I heard something. There was a new scent entering the air as we continued to rest. "What's wrong?" Celestia asked.

"You smell that?" I asked. Celestia sniffed the air before looking at me and nodded. "Something's not right." I said. The sounds and scent were getting stronger before auntie Mira served Celestia some water. Celestia was worried about auntie Mira, but she said she was okay and serving the water and drinks was making her feel better. Elfman mentioned that working through the pain was what a real man did before Evergreen started hitting him with her fan. As the sound and scent continued, I looked at Celestia's water, which she was also staring at. It was moving before it settled for a moment, then a thunderous roar rung out through the sky. "What is that?" Evergreen asked.
