Y/n's POV

I slowly opened my eyes, seeing the sky above me as I groaned a little in pain. "Zuli? Are you awake?" Wendy asked. I rolled my head to the right, seeing Gramps still knocked out from his injuries and Celestia sitting on the other side of him with her hair still tied up into a ponytail. "Hey.... guess dad didn't want me using too much magic." I joked as I started sitting up. Celestia just sighed and nodded in agreement with that. "You were using too much magic. Next time listen to us." Celestia complained.

"I will." I said, getting to my feet. As I walked over, sitting down next to Celestia, dad's scent was getting closer. "Dad's on his way back here and it smells like mom is with him." I said.

"That's good, master still hasn't woken up from his injuries." Celestia said, leaning against me. We sat there for a moment in silence before I heard someone getting close. I looked over, seeing dad, mom and Happy running up to us. "Wendy! Y/n!" Dad shouted.

"You made it back! Did you find anything?" Celestia asked, looking at dad.

"Is master doing any better?" Mom asked.

"I can't say his condition has improved." Carla said.

"I'm sure he'll be fine once he wakes up." I said.

"Although it would seem that the master's wounds are serious, I feel like his life isn't in danger." Lily said.

"Perhaps it has something to do with this island being considered sacred ground." Carla suggested. I nodded in agreement since other than my magic, he hadn't been healed any further. While we were looking at Gramps Mest's scent reappeared as I looked over, seeing him with a lacrima. Everyone gasped as they looked at him. "The traitor has returned." Lily said.

"Where'd you run off to whoever you are?" Dad asked.

"That's Mest, the spy from the magic council." Mom explained. Mest walked over to us, stopping as he stood in front of us. "To be quite honest, my name is Doranbolt." Mest said.

"Yeah, still gonna call you Mest. Besides, you're lucky I'm not taking shots at you for just up and leaving us." I said.

"Zuli, calm down. What are you doing here?" Celestia asked, holding my hand.

"Please, don't be afraid, Wendy. I guess you could say I'm on a rescue mission." Mest explained. I looked at him, not believing what he was talking about. "I can use my magic to teleport all your guild members to safety. I get you as far away from this island as possible. But first I need to know where everybody is to do that." Mest said.

"We don't need your help, okay, pal." Dad answered.

"Agreed." I added. Mest looked at us in shock before Carla spoke up. "What makes you think we trust anyone who's acting in the magic council's interests?" Carla asked.

"This is our problem, not yours. We're more than capable of taking care of it ourselves." Lily added.

"Listen to me, I guarantee once the magic council finds out what's going on here, they'll do whatever it takes to neutralize the threat." Mest explained.

"You mean they're going to fire the Etherion again?" Happy shouted.

"Once was enough, seriously." Mom said.

"What's Etherion? Do you know?" Lily asked, looking at Carla.

"I don't have any firsthand experience with it, but apparently it's very powerful destruction magic." Carla answered.

"Yeah, and the magic council used it on us before when we were in the Tower of Heaven." Happy explained.

"Really? How did you manage to survive?" Lily asked.

"Well, it's actually kind of long story, but a lot of other crazy stuff happened and it was all absorbed into this huge lacrima." Happy explained.

"Yet another example of this guild running into major trouble wherever they go." Carla added.

"That one didn't actually involve the guild. Just our team." I corrected.

"But if they decide to fire it while we're on the island..." Celestia started.

"Who knows what damage it might cause this time?" Mom finished.

"Then it looks like we'll have to take care of business before that happens." Dad said.

"Your master's been defeated and Grimoire Hearts got a lot of powerful wizards on their side. There's no way you can beat them." Mest said, stepping up to dad.

"Oh yeah? So we should just blow up the whole island, huh?" Dad asked.

"You're asking us to sacrifice our sacred ground just to take care of some dark guild?" I asked.

"I agree with Zuli. We can't let that happen. This is our guild's sacred ground since our guild's first master is buried here. We have to protect it." Celestia said. Mom stepped forward, looking at Mest while Lily and Happy looked ready to continue the fight. "Here's a message for the magic council. Tell them they better back off. If they don't, they'll be sorry." Mom answered.

"Yeah! Tell them Fairy Tail can always take care of itself." Happy agreed. Mest looked at us like we were out of our minds for wanting to protect our guild's sacred grounds. "Are you threating the magic council? Some lowly wizards?" Mest asked. He was clearly upset that we were willing to tell the magic council not to mess with our guild. "You've got a lot to learn, man. Whether it's Grimoire Heart or the magic council Fairy Tail doesn't back down. You attack us. It's going to be your last mistake. We'll put you deep in the ground." Dad said, getting close to Mest. As we were taking Zuli let go of my hand and looked up at the sky, which had new clouds forming. "The sky, it looks like there's a storm coming." Zuli said. Just before the storm set in, our little group moved to a spot on the island that had enough room to shelter all of us. Dad and I were standing at the entrance to the place we were using as shelter. "I can't believe Gramps was beaten by someone. Any idea who it was?" I asked.

"Nope, but that doesn't matter. Once we get our hands on them, they'll regret ever coming to this island." Dad said.

"Agreed." I said.
