Chapter 1 *The night*

A/N I’ll speak tagalog later on. I don’t intend to make it in English but the words just came out. Please bear with me and my grammars, even if it’s so very very bad hehe. [Liz’ POV] 

I never used to parties. True that my parents take me to some of them and true that I attend a lot of them when I was studying secretarial but that was just because it was required. And now, It is also required to be here, company celebration and each and every people in every department is invited – required – to be there.

I make myself to the buffet and took what I could eat. French cuisine is all delicious as it looked but I used to have a small appetite for any food.

“Enjoying?” I almost jump when someone joined me and whisper that to my ear. I struggle with a plate on my hand and turn to him

“Sorry” shyly he took my plate and smile

Jeremy is one hell of a guy. If you’re not charm with his personality you’ll surely be damned if you resist that smile of his

 “O-okay” I put a hand to the one that Jeremy’s hand brush as he took the plate off me

  

He led me to a table together with the other stuff member in his department. Girls are flirting with him, I mused. He was entitled to that and if I’m a normal girl, I might do just that. But I’m not… I knew better than to flirt and take advantage of the situation

  

“Let’s all drink till we can drink no more. Gawin nating post birthday celebration ko itong gabing ito. Enjoy, everyone and that means you too Liz” Jeremy gave me a glass with a liquor on it

“I shouldn’t really, I have a low alcoholic tolerance, I might not find my way home” everyone laugh around our table

  

“There are plenty of rooms, Liz. Lahat kayo ay na ka book na, so you can stay here if ever you got drank” smiling Jeremy push the drink closer to me “Oh, come on now Liz, for me”

  

Liz closed her eyes then sigh. He is using his charm on her and he’s really good at it. No turning back now she mused. She take the glass and drink it straight up. They all cheer for her.

  

Moments later she doesn’t know what’s going on around her. She excuses herself and go to the front desk to get her key. But as she was going up the hotel room she felt nausea forming to the pit of her stomach so she runs to the comfort room.

  

She don’t have any idea as to where Jeremy might be but before he went out of sight he was as drunk as her and he whisper to her something that made her excited and scared at the same time.
