It's been over ten years since we left Nigeria for the United States and Beauty joined us two years after we left. Our friendship is still as strong as ever even though we've added new friends.
Richard, my love, yes we are still in a relationship. We had issues, but they all become settled even before we go to bed. I'm happy I chose him cos he has giving me peace and happiness also numerous gifts. Oh I forgot to add that Richard is now a Google Certified IT Support Professional, Senior HR at Amazon.
As for Beauty being a beauty😂 she majored in fashion while we were in college and now my baby girl now models for a living. Well we lost chief Ajayi four years ago at the age of 80, he willed all his property to Beauty making her Rich both home and abroad 😊
And as for me, yh I know you all have questions like ehn what happened to your family? I'll tell you guys. Since we're no longer in Nigeria, madam Bridget gives us updates I also changed my contact so they won't be able to reach me (my family).
According to her my dad died, Fisayo is now a teacher in a public primary school while Aunty Joy sells beer.
And as for Doyin, hmmmmmm she got married to Philip and that one beats her every blessed day I guess by now she'll know that I did not lie at all. Yeah I asked the same question running through your minds right now that why has she not left him. Welllll according to madam Bridget, she now has two children for him and she claims she can't leave cos of her children.
As for Toyin, fortunately she got pregnant for a responsible medical doctor and pharmacist who came to Akure for his service and then they later got married, they had twins as their first child and a boy is their last child.
My mother; I don't know how she is, where she is, how she's fairing cos I never asked after her.
I know you all want to know what I ended up becoming 🥰. Well after a total of eight good years I had my Pharm. D. Yh I studied pharmacy and I came out in flying colors but now I own an African restaurant both in Nigeria and here.
Madam Bridget heads my restaurant in Nigeria and she's running it well.
Mr and Mrs Coker went back to Nigeria after spending eight years here according to them, they miss home😂. But they are both hale and healthy disturbing me and Richard to get married and give them grandchildren 🙈
Today being July 30th is my birthday and I'll be 28 years old, when I woke up this morning nobody was home so I just got dressed and went to work.
While having a meeting with my workers my phone rang it was Beauty so I picked
"Hey babes, whatsup" I said
"I'm good, ehm TM I need your help" she said and sounded worried
"Ok"
"I need you to come home now, I don't understand what Richard is saying he locked himself inside since" she sounded as though she was about to cry
" Ahhhh, it's ok I'm coming right away" I said
I apologized to my workers and told them I had to go. I quickly grabbed my car keys and drove home.
When I got home, I used my spare keys to open the door of the house and I entered shouting Richards name but immediately I started calling his name the lights went off and the sitting room became dark cos the blinds were closed too.
"Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday dear TM, Happy birthday to you" I heard people sing then the light was turned on, I saw my friends from college and also Beauty who was holding a very beautiful cake.
I looked down and I saw Richard on his two knees not one o two 😂
"You may be wondering why I'm not kneeling on one knee the normal way, just leave me this is how I want to do mine. Tanimola you've been my best friend since we were kids and I've loved you since then. You've been my support, my backbone, my friend and lover. My partner in everything, we've had several issues that threatened this relationship but we're still here" I had tears in my eyes
"My cry cry baby, I'll like to take our relationship and friendship to the next level, I don't just want you to be my best friend and girlfriend alone. I want you to be the queen in my kingdom, the beautiful mother to my unborn cute children, and above all MY WIFE. So Tanimola Johnson , marry me" everybody made the awwnnn sound while I laughed and said
"You didn't add please" I said
"Not like you have a choice but please" he said smiling widely.
"Yes Richard Coker I'll marry you" I said stretching my hand out as he placed the beautiful diamond ring on my finger.

He stood up and hugged me while everybody else clapped and shouted congratulations together. It was then I heard Mr and Mrs Cokers voice saying "finally" I then realized they were in video call with Beauty.
"We have a wedding to plan" Beauty said.......
