"..wang yibo.. Wang Yibo... I SAID WANG YIBO!" The sudden yell made his ear itchy, so with an unbothered attitude, he scratched it like he was getting rid of pests. "Just what the hell has been wrong with you these days? You're never really there."
Yibo looked out the window, seeming to be deep in thought. His manager glared at him from the rear mirror of the car, seeming displeased with his actions.
"I don't know why you're so concerned. I have too much on my plate right now, is there a reason to scold me that much?" His manager clicked his tounge while turning left. "The director told me you spilled coffee on that famous movie director after the meeting. You're out of order, don't talk back to me."
Seeing how unbothered he continued to be, his manager heaved a sigh and stopped the car before a luxurious apartment building. "He was being rude and disrespected me. I don't want to do bussiness with such people no matter the cause."
"Even then you can't just go around spilling coffee on people just because they're rude." He looked out the window and glanced at the 24th floor balcony before turning back at him. "At least let Mr. Xiao put some sense into you. He's more responsible than you'll ever be." Yibo simply rolled his eyes as he got out the car and left.
He had been on edge ever since his "fight" with Zhan, that he couldn't concantrate on anything else. His mind was always stuck at him, making his daily life function like a broken down train.
To make matters worse, they hadn't talked for over two weeks, until he couldn't hold it anymore and messaged him.
It was a simple message saying "can i come over?", to which, he had not excpected the answer to be "sure". So he didn't spend another minute before going over to his house.
He was now before his door, waiting for him to answer. Upon watching it open, Yibo's eyes softened at the sight.
His black hair was wet and messy while all he had on was t-shirt and a pair of underwear. He couldn't help himself from hiding his lower parts. "Hi."
Zhan nodded back at him as he walked in and took a can of beer out of the freezer. "Hey. Heard you spilled coffee on a movie director." Yibo closed the door after him and shrugged. "Seems the whole industry knows about it now. No can do."
The older took his time to answer, his hands clasping the metal can while deep in thought. "I didn't like him either. He was a bother."
Yibo grinned as he threw himself on the couch. "Thank you! Ah... your couch is definetly the most comfortable." Zhan glanced back to find him laying down in comfort. His pelvic bone was slightly visible as his sweatshirt slid up and his collarbones peaked out of his collar.
"I... can't stay for too long. I have a meeting today." Yibo oh'ed, opening his eyes to find him staring at him. "That's okay. I can wait here."
Zhan didn't turn him down, instead going to his wardrobe to dress up. Soon after he was finished, he came out with a dark purple suit, his neck covered with his black turtle neck. It was an unusal fit for a "meeting" but Yibo had already decided to not question him again.
"I realized you haven't been using your perfume lately. Is it because of the bruises?" Maybe if he had tried to be comfortable, then he would open up to him faster. He just hoped that it wouldn't backfire.
"I... uhm.. n-no- it's just... i forget." He had stammered too much for someone who was telling the truth, making Yibo cock an eyebrow at him. "..." Yet he ended up saying nothing more and instead watched as he put on his shoes. "When will you be back?"
"By nighttime. You can order food if you'd like."
Yibo leaned his face inside his palm and replied lazily. "I will."
Before getting out, Zhan glanced at him one more time and waved.
As the door closed behind him, Yibo finally stood up from his place and started to roam around the house.
He first checked inside his trashbin- both the kitchen and the toilet. He found nothing unusual other than some bandaids covered in small amounts of blood and bandages that were clean- yet seemed used. He guess he must've had them on for at least two weeks for them to seem so ragged.
