It was yet another early morning, yet there Zhan was, lying on the couch still tied up. Yibo was checking the news on his phone as he fed him spoonfuls of eggs and a bunch of side dishes as breakfast. And despite the courtesy of having washed his face, fed him, and groomed his hair, this situation was still highly ridiculous.

"Are you seriously going to leave me tied up in here all day?" Yibo didn't speak, only giving him a side glance. "What if I get thirsty- or even worse, have to pee?"

Yibo then smirked, pointing at the ground. "You can do it on the floor. I'll clean i up later." Zhan then irked his face, unconvinced. "Ugh come on..."

It was only then moments later when Yibo realised what time it was, and headed straight to work. While all Zhan could do was just sit and stare at the ceiling in ave. He did wish that they could take things a bit further in their nightly activities, but this was far from his expectancies.

He groaned, shaking his head. "I'm really craving some strawberries right now..." He really wanted those strawberries.

Meanwhile, back at work, Yibo had now come to the company, waiting for his manager to arrive via a car, to take him to the filming location. Yet as he did so, little did he expect his mother to show up once more. "You seriously didn't have enough after harassing my friend yesterday?"

His mother frowned. "Harassing? It was hardly anything of the sort. He was the one who approached me with the intent of driving me to my hotel where i'm staying at, and it wasn't the least bit pleasing by the way."

Yibo could only groan at her, his face full of anger and resentment. "Ah- seriously, why are you even here? i don't understand you. The last time i saw your face, you didn't even care to look me in the eyes because of how shameful our situation had been." His mother shook her head, eyes somehow sad. "Don't even mention it- I only came to deliver you some news. It's-"

"Oh is that so? You could've done it over the phone too. Ohh wait, i wouldn't have picked it up."

"But it's important so please-"

"Wow, you're so desperate that you even have the courage to say please. Well too bad, because i don't want to hear another word from you. Just go back home as I said, I'll get you a train ticket."

Mrs. Wang seemed to be more on edge now, her fists clenching so tight that the blood had stopped rushing through her fingers. She wasn't having it anymore. "I came all this way from Beijing, and you can't even give me a moment to speak? Can't you see that this is important-"

Yibo scoffed. "What is important, is the day of 23rd January, 2003. That is the day when everything got fucked- and so did you. But did you ever care about what i went through?" Her glossy eyes now looked at him as thought she were lost. Yet Yibo put his boundaries down and raised his hand. "No- don't give me that pitiful look- i'm not reminding you of it for your pity. But oh, maybe if you had shown it back at that time, things might've been different."

He then paced around for a bit before raising his arms. "So, don't blame me for not listening to you." Mrs Wang sighed, her gaze now pointed down. "...i understand that. At least let me stay at your house tonight, the hotel-"

Yibo crossed his arms. "I thought that bastard was sending you that dear money of his. I'm sure you can afford to spend another night there."

She swallowed, looking to the side in contemplation. "Is that why you didn't open the door to me? Can't even find it worthy to look me in the face now too huh..." Yibo raised his brows. "That is without question- and i would've probably done so... if I still lived there that is."
