The sun was high up yet was covered by the clouds. It was almost as if the weather could read his mind. Except the part where there was no rain. That was missing.
He couldn't avoid the thoughts that had popped up in his head last night, while touching the man he adored. His skin was flawless to the touch yet the bruises had made it look rotten. He hated them. He hated how they had formed on his body without his permission. It angered him. A lot.
"...hey dude- can you stop frowning? You're scaring everyone away."
The comment his friend Zixin had made was rather blunt, so he smacked the fork onto the table and frowned even harder. "You're the one who wanted to meet outside. At a hotel of all places."
Zixin pouted. "I can't just meet up with you at a café on the street. We would be swarmed by people in seconds!" Yibo growled back. "That's why we have our own houses! Fuck!"
Zixin was bewildered by his behavior, observing his expression with an open mouth. "Someone is angry today-"
Yibo cut his words, becoming more tense. But to Zixin he just seemed overly anxious for some reason. And that, he was. "Do you remember Zu-Qian street?" Zixin's lips formed into a smile as he clapped. "Don't i! Those times were a mess.. remember when this girl came to us and we did it to her on both sid-" Yibo glared at him so Zixin shut up and didn't finish his sentence. "Then do you also remember a place with a red spider lily?"
Zixin furrowed his brows. "Spider lily? Hm... i'm not sure. But i do remember a bar that had a weird red flower with spikes like a spider." Yibo squinted his eyes. "Any chance that was a spider lily you smartass?" Zixin thought for a bit. "Oh- yeah you're right, it must've been a spider lily.. but e why ask now? Hey- don't tell me you plan on visiting that place!"
Yibo shook his head and leaned back to seem comfortable so that he gave nothing away. "Ofcourse not. But a friend of mine told me that he had an invitation from that place. Have any ideas about what it is?" Zixin's face turned a little suprised as he raised his eyebrow at him. "Seriously? Then he must be one lucky guy. That bar can only be entered with a contract. You must not disclose any information about who you meet or what you do in there or you'll get horribly sued."
Yibo raised his brows, impressed. "How is that lucky?" Zixin looked around for a moment and once there was noone around them he leaned in closer and whispered. "There are rumors saying that celebrities often go there. Since their information cannot get disclosed, they have some fun and then leave."
It would surely be a dream to "have some fun" with a celebrity indeed. But why would Zhan visit there? Was he that sexually frustrated that he needed to visit such a dangerous bar? Yibo couldn't help but ask.
"Do you know if any female stars have been caught there? Or is it secure as you say?" He wondered if there was a connection to someone that had somehow led Zhan to being dragged to such a place. Yet Zixin shook his head, smirking. "Women? Ge- that place is a gay-bar."
Yibo's eyes widened. He bacame speechless for a moment, unable to process the words that had just come out of his mouth. "A.. gay bar?" He mumbled to himself, later closing his mouth, pressing his hand over it. His expression wasn't completely filled with dissapointment. It was the sight one would see after a serial killer was finished with his meal.
He thought it was a misunderstanding at first but the signs had been there all along! Remembering their first meeting to the last, he clenched his first and frowned. "How could i have not known..."
Zixin raised his brow at his words, thinking he was still talking about the bar. "Hm? There was not much you could've known anyways. Guess we were just lucky to have went past that place. But hey! Lets forget that now and talk about girls! Did you see the..."
