"OKAY, STOP! This is the seventh time today, what is wrong with you two?"
It had indeed been the seventh time they got cut, due to the fact they kept doing mistakes. Dancing had never been this exhausting, let alone be of any trouble at all. But even Yibo was a mess, making Zhan feel worse.
"You were set to perform in two weeks time, which should've been more than enough to get the amount of practice you need. Now there is only two days left until the performance, yet all i see is a mess! Hey!" Yibo was looking away, which had made his manager rather angry. He approached him with furious steps before grabbing the phone out of his hands. "Look at me when i'm talking! I'm asking you! What the hell is wrong with you these days? First you start by cancelling appointments because you don't feel up to it, then you disappear for three days without notice, and now you're acting like a child who forgot how to dance!"
Yibo snapped back, his eyes angry. "Just what the hell do you want! I'm doing here what i can aren't i?" In all honesty, he knew he wasn't. They were supposed to meet for practice but neither of them had the will , nor the courage to show up after their fight. So two weeks had gone by without any contact at all, and both guessed it would be the best to not tell the man.
But now that he had heard about Yibo's situation, he would've never guessed that it had been this bad for him. Was he acting so stubborn because of how he had pushed him away? His eyes had already made it obvious that he had no will of staying here any longer than he had to. And that made Zhan's chest somehow tighten. But he knew he had been the cruel one here, so he had no rights to complain.
He did want to apologize to him, yet didn't know how to. Yibo wasn't even looking him in the eyes, so how could he find the courage to?
"We will take a twenty minute break, and if you're still a mess by the end of it, then i'll go to the director and tell him we're drawing back from the performance." He then walked away, leaving the two alone in the dancing studio. They hadn't been alone for a long time so it was a bit awkward.
But he couldn't have run after Zeng Huizhong either, since that would've looked like he was running away from Yibo... which he did not want to. But it was all out of fear, that's all.
Just then two footsteps approached them from behind, followed by loud but slow clapping. "What a performance that was! I'm impressed." It was Cheng and his obnoxious smile. Neither of them were pleased to see him, ready to ignore his words. But knowing how angry Yibo was, there was no guaranteeing that he was going to keep silent this time either.
"Wang Yibo, aren't you supposed to be the best dancer in the Chinese entertainment industry? Or was that all just false information?" Yibo frowned, taking a step forward to show that he was not intimidated. "It seems that my punch wasn't enough for you huh. Does your face desire another one?" Cheng frowned back, ready to throw a punch. Just then, Zhan came between them and pushed them apart. "Hey! Stop annoying him like that! Your deal is with me right? So stop going at him instead."
But Cheng pursed his lips in an undeciding manner as he walked around them. "But that wouldn't be fun now would it? He's fun to harass no matter what you say. And besides- you never come and have fun with me, so who am i to approach you so carelessly when you have the capability of slipping out of my grasp so easily?"
Yibo scoffed at him sarcastically. He really had enough of him and so did Zhan. But in actuality, he was more worried about how he might slip up about him and the bar. He did not trust him one a bit. "Out of your grasp you say? Just who do you think you are to have him in your hands? You try something stupid again and i won't let it slide with just a punch." Cheng scoffed back with that same tone. "Oh really? I wonder if you would have that same attitude, after learning what kind of places he's visiting?"
