Nights had usually been long for a while, yet tonight it seemed to be shorter.

The clock was ticking in his mind loudly while the car engine almost burst from being pushed to its limit. Traffic was unbearable, and so was his growing impatience. Time was passing, and he had never thought that it would be his greatest enemy at some point in life. But it had happened, so he had no way of going against it other than be faster than it could comprehend.

He parked the car before the lit bar and rushed his way inside. Upon entering, he had already started to strip himself of his clothes without minding anyone else that was around.

Hu Li looked up at the commotion and raised his brows. "Someone is in a hurry." Zhan took off his coat and hung it on the hanger beside the door before walking away. "Can't talk. Late."

He then entered through the crimson red door and walked along the dark hallway, until he reached the door he had been punching through the heaven's to see.

His legs moved quickly and he made his way in to find the room empty.

Out of breath, Zhan held his scarf around his neck and slowly pulled it down while his eyes scanned the room for a sign. "...was i late..?" His rapidly beating heart slowly came to a halt. He had rushed all the way from the other side of the city just to be on here. But he just had to be late because of the stupid photoshoot.

With a small pout forming on his lips, his shoulders dropped. "Stupid Tao... stupid job.."

But just then, a hand appeared before his face and covered his eyes whilst pushing his head back to lean it over a warm shoulder. "Y-you came.." He couldn't help but be relieved of worry as he leaned the back of his head deeper into his shoulder until it reached corner under his sharp chin. "I.. i'm sorry for being late. I had a photoshoot and... the traffic was bad.."

He couldn't think of any excuses and had ended up telling him the truth. He already knew his face and identity, so it was of no worry to be honest with him. "...ahm... i-i hope you are doing good though... i was worried that you had left."

That warm hand slowly extracted itself and the warmth behind his head with it. He heard the footsteps become faint behind his back, until they stopped. Had he said something wrong?

Just then, he heard his phone ring. So he took it out of his pocket and clicked on the tab. It was a message from... "...Mr. Yan?"

"Thank you for asking, i am good. And you don't need to worry about me leaving. The thought never crossed my mind."

Zhan blushed upon reading the message and smiled. "Is... is that so."

He looked at the phone once more and read the new text. "Yes."

"You said you were at a photoshoot?" Zhan nodded, now holding the phone with two hands. "Yeah, it was for a perfume brand. I hope i didn't make you wait for too long.."

He then waited for a bit until a new message appeared on his screen once more. "Your flattering looks make up for it. I wouldn't worry." Zhan bit his lip, his fingers fiddling over the phone. "Do i look nice? They did put a bit of make up on me.."

"You look very charming." Just then Zhan swallowed as he suddenly remembered the night he was drunk. He remembered Yibo's words on how he had called him pretty. His eyes squeezed shut. Why did he even think of him all of a sudden?

Ping! It was another message. "Since we will be getting into a BDSM relationship, i think we have to set some ground rules. I was hoping to talk to you about it as we try things out today."
