The weather was as nice as it seemed from the window, yet the streets empty because of the working hours. Zhan was at the shopping district in Shanghai, looking for a gift while Yibo went out to the company for an errand. He was glad that he was busy, so he had more time to decide on what to get him.

Before he went away overseas, he had told him that he'd have a surprise, ready to excite him on his return. Yet he had no idea about what to buy. Everything he looked at seemed either too ordinary or too bold, when he had spoken so greatly about it. At the end, he became too stressed and decided to take a break on a bench nearby. Yet as he sat, a familiar car across the street before the shops caught his eye, causing him to squint for a better look. Then there he saw Shun leaning against the hood, smoking as he stared into the distance.

Deciding to say hi, Zhan stood up and made his way towards him. "'It's unlike you to be seen shopping." Shun whose eyes were covered by sunglasses, pushed them down with his finger before flicking the cigarette onto the streets. "What are you talking about, i'm covered in designer brands." Zhan gave him a skeptical look, wondering if he was serious. "All you ever wear is leather jackets and jeans. I never noticed."

Shun crossed his arms, shaking his head. "Seems you don't have a good eye then. Must be sad.." Zhan gave him a chuckle before leaning against the hood of the car right beside him. "Right... that, or you're just dimming your style with your frown."

"I don't frown.." Shun protested, yet sounding slightly unsure. "You do. Your brows are always furrowed like you're on a mission or something. Always so serious-" Zhan raised his hand to press his finger between his brows, but the latter pushed his hand off. "Stop that. And for your information, i AM on a mission."

Zhan raised his brows curiously. "Oh? What is it about?" Shun yawned as if tired before taking his glasses off and putting them in his front jacket pocket. "I'm tailing some guy... the rest is confidential. But if it weren't... i'd tell you that he's a murder suspect."

Zhan pursed his lips, nodding. "Mhm... so, is he in that shop over there? I could help-" Shun rolled his eyes. "Yeah- no. Mind your own business- why are you even here? Aren't you shopping?"

"Well, yeah- but i can't find the thing i'm looking for. I could just hop there and have a talk with him, get a word or two out and-" Shun glared at him in disagreement. "I said forget it. You're a celebrity anyways, i'd be putting you in danger. What were you looking for exactly?" Zhan sighed, giving up. "...for a gift. What do you think Yibo would like?" Shun scoffed, shaking his head. "Nothing that of material value i can think of. Just lay yourself in bed, wrapped in ribbons like a gift- oof!"

Zhan quickly punched his arm, frowning. "Stop that! Why did i even ask you of all people..." Shun gave him a side glance, wondering the same thing. "My idea was still nice- what were you going to get him? Flowers and chocolate? Pff- trying to be a hopeless romantic or what.." Zhan thought for a bit, later remembering what Yibo had said to him weeks ago. But because of the recent incident involving the prison and his trip abroad, he had completely forgotten about it!

He sighed in relief at the thought, later smiling to himself in delight. "What- did you think of what you're going to get?" Zhan hummed, standing back straight on his legs. "Yes- and it couldn't be more perfect! I'll be on my way then." Shun hummed, later looking at the shop behind him in disappointment. "Shit- i lost the guy- seriously?" Zahn chuckled, eyes focused in the distance. There was a person in his field of view which later began running impatiently towards him. So he squinted his eyes in wonder, waiting until the figure became clearer. Only after when he was able to make out her hair and face, was he in complete shock.
