It was finally nighttime. The moon was howling like a wild bear while the stars shined aggressively down to earth.
He didn't exactly mean to ignore Yibo for two whole weeks, but it just happened. In reality, he had been meaning to keep him away from his mess of a mind, guilty of having feelings for him. It was disgraceful and hurtful. He knew he should've never thought about it to begin with. But he couldn't possibly ignore the way his heart beat when around him. Yet his body was too weak to speak his mind, even for something as simple as an apology. It was humiliating to him, making him have all kinds of depressing thoughts.
But when he saw him back at the studio today, he felt somehow relieved. His cheeks had flushed, his chest warm, and his breathing heavy. The feelings themselves were overwhelming to put into words, while the rest of the reactions he had, were another story.
Those reactions swirling around him, sometimes inside and out were making him feel something else. Something greater. He had come to accept his feelings for Yibo, but that was just. After such a long time, when he finally met him, he had forgotten just how breathtakingly handsome he was. He couldn't help himself but concentrate on small traits, like the way he parted his lips before talking, or the way he blinked when he was nervous, or the way he swallowed after each sentence.
Those things had started to paralyse him, making his body twist and turn and whatnot, which he described to be disrespectful. Yes, he was being disrespectful by squeezing his legs together as his length itched for some pleasure. He could just not help it. He wanted him... he yearned for him.
"Just how much do you like him?" The only answer Zhan could find to that were his own feelings deep down. "I lust for him... it's a mess isn't it?"
Shun couldn't really disagree as he took a seat before him. "Well... you being away from him has definitely made your yearning worse."
Zhan sighed. "Then you tell me. You saw him that day, do you think that he could ever get to.. you know.. see me in that light?" Shun sucked in his teeth thoughtfully and sighed. "About that, i actually wanted to tell you but never had the chance. You know i've been busy so.." Zhan's worry began to raise as he nudged his arm. "Well... in all honesty, i have seen many innocent people in my life which had been brought in for false accusations or had been suspects of a case. And their eyes would always be bright inside. I'm not sure if i can explain that. But that guy... Wang Yibo.. his eyes were dark."
Zhan furrowed his brows, confused. "What is that suppose to mean?" Shun awkwardly averted his gaze for a moment before looking back at him. "I don't think you should trust him. There is just something about him that i can't quite catch but he's definitely-" Before he could finish his sentence Zhan stood up and grabbed his jacket. "Maybe that's because there is nothing wrong with him. How about you get your diploma checked? Maybe you aren't as good as a detective than you think you are."
Shun became baffled as he pulled him back. "Hey- i didn't mean it bad, all i said was, there is something unsettling about him." But Zhan didn't want to listen to him anymore as he pulled his arm back and walked away.
The latter glanced after him and scoffed. "What's with the denial..."
"Oh he isn't in denial. He knows Yibo better than you do. He just accepts him for the way he is." Shun glanced up at Hu Li who had just placed a glass of orange juice before him. "Despite his mysterious aura? I swear there is something wrong with that guy.."
Hu Li smiled softly and leaned in to whisper. "Well that's because there is." Shun frowned. "You know of Wang Yibo?" The latter hummed. "Why of course i do. I'm a bar owner." Those words were enough to make Shun quickly catch up on what had been going on. "He... he's that guy Zhan is meeting isn't it!?" Hu Li sighed. "You're really troublesome when you're like that. Just leave them alone."
