"I'll put the drink in a glass-" Zixin stood up from the floor and made his way into the kitchen. Zhan yelled after him. "Bring me one too-"
After coming back, he took a seat once more. "So tell me again- you say a crazy fan tried to break in?" Zhan shook his head, unsure. "I think she would've- i'm just glad i called the police. Why are weird things happening to me these days... i swear." Zixin shook his head, finding it normal. "It's not unusual to get crazed fans at your doorstep. They pay people from your company to provide them with your address, or sometimes even go to the lengths of tailing the company cars all the way to your apartment."
Zhan furrowed his brows in worry. "You sound like you've experienced this quite a lot." Zixin nodded while stuffing a chicken in his mouth. "You have no idea. Once, i even got this one fan who did a live, trying to commit suicide if i didn't go to her to proclaim my love or something. Thankfully she was dumb enough to put the address under the comments for me, but the police ended up finding her instead."
Zhan simply raised his brows, shocked. "That sounds intense..." Zixin hummed, thinking. "True... but now that i think about it, Yibo has dated a lot of crazy people in the past. You said she claimed to be his girlfriend?"
Zhan sucked in his breath, shaking his hand in denial. "Then i'll be the more relieved to know i called the police. But i'm sure that she was just a fan. Or she would've tried to come clean about it. She sat silent through the whole time until the police arrived."
Zixin scoffed a laugh. "And how did that happen?" Zhan looked to his side, hand scratching the back of his neck. "...might've told her i was calling Yibo to come over." Zixin then burst out laughing, shaking his head. "Had to protect your man, huh. That's vicious... vicious but smart."
Zhan chuckled slightly too, watching as the latter gave him a chicken leg. "Have to hand it to you though, you were much better than i had thought you'd be. But i just can't figure out the abnormality you have." Zhan blinked, surprised. "From what i've discovered in the past, Yibo has always been with people who were mentally disturbed, or had some weird shit going on. So what is your deal?"
Zhan oh'ed, nervously averting his gaze. "Oh well, that's for the two of you to have. All i can say is that you're special. Might actually be the last one he'll ever be with.........."
He paused for a really long time after that, so Zhan looked at him, finding him teary eyed. "...can't believe he's already found someone to love.... and what about me... who will i find?" Zhan glanced down at his glass to find it empty. Just when did he drink four cans of beer? He just arrived!
"You're drunk already?... Zixin maybe we should-" Zixin raised his glass. "You should drink too. It's lonely." In all honesty, Zhan hadn't gotten drunk in a while. Thinking it would be fun since he was with Zixin, he took his glass and drank as well.
Yet soon enough, they were both wasted, laying on the floor, a box of cold chicken bones in between them. "..and then my uncle scolded me..."
"...you did let his bird out."
"...but it was loud.. i hate birds... do you like birds?"
Zhan thought for a bit, later shaking his head. "...ahaha... i don't think i do after all..."
"...yeah... just wanna grab their beaks and throw them like bulletss...pffffahahahaha!" Both then burst out laughing, the apartment the loudest it had been in a while.
Then it fell silent, both now quiet. Zixin raised himself up, looking over at Zhan. "What's wrong?" Zixin sighed, shaking his head. "...i'm sorry for being a dick in the past. I was just..."
