Yibo hated the sun.

Because if the sun showed, then it would be hot, which would result in him sweating and then becoming all sticky. And he hated that today of all days was sunny. The only thing that kept him going was the date he had tonight and nothing else. The meeting room had already started feeling stuffy, making him wonder when it was going to end.

Every actor had finished introducing themselves and their roles, which had now left Eight to give a speech. It was the cherry on top to put everything together.

While he did so, Yibo began fanning his face with his script, sometimes glancing out the window to see if the sun had been blanketed by clouds yet. And every time he saw that it wasn't, he would give the occasional sigh, causing the other actors to be uneasy. But Eight didn't mind, and instead, gave a soft chuckle before continuing his speech. And soon after he was finished, he pulled Yibo aside while the rest went out to their ways and called it a day.

"I didn't think that my speech was that boring." Yibo rolled his eyes as he walked towards the window and pushed it open. "It's not all about you. It's just hot." Eight stared at him, curious. "...and your speech was boring. You spoke like a politician." The director slightly irked his face before scoffing it away. "I wouldn't think of that as a minus. So, any plans after this?"

Yibo shrugged. He did indeed have plans. Before his date, he had to meet Shun in a bit, and had asked of him to come to this company building since he didn't want to waste time. "Loads."

"Hmm.. i see. Well, before you go, here." He then handed him a coupon from a chocolate shop. "There is this store that opened down the street a while ago. I hear their chocolate is really good." Yibo looked at it with furrowed brows before tucking it in his pocket. "Fine. I'll take it, bye now."

With that he walked away while Eight watched him do so with crescent eyes. Just then, Nuo popped out from under the table and looked at the director. "Sir you are smirking too viciously."

As he heard her say that, Eight quickly cleared his throat and shook his head. "For how long have you been there?" Nuo slowly stood up before dusting off her knee-length skirt. "Since you said chocolate sir." Eight pursed his lips and nodded. "Do you think i did the right job by hiring him as the main actor?" Nuo made an unreadable face as she spoke next. "I heard from the other actors on their way out that sir Wang had been quite disrespectful."

Eight tilted his head. "Yes you're right.... i did a good job by hiring him." Nuo blinked. "But i heard he sighed a lot?" Eight frowned. "Must you spoil everything i ask of you? I swear... all you need to do is agree with me and be obedient! And where is my coffee!" Nuo's eyes suddenly widened as she began running. "I'm sorry sir- i will bring it right away-"

Eight then raised his hands and tilted his head back. "Not now, but before! Befooree Nuooo!!" And just like that the office door was closed on his face once more, as Nuo ran down to the cafe to get some coffee.

Meanwhile Yibo who was seated on one of the tables watched her do so. His attention later taken by a hand that was placed on his shoulder. "Did i make you wait too long?"

Yibo simply nodded, watching as Shun took a seat before him. "You did. I thought detectives had a good sense of punctuality." Shun shook his head while avoiding the question. "Well, the deeds i was responsible for are done, so no need to ask me of my punctuality. I heard you got a new role."

"Yeah i-"

"I've always been a fan of Eight Huang- so i can't help but be excited to see the series." Yibo made a face of disgust while Shun cleared his throat. "........anyways. After Zhan asked me to investigate the matter.... it all ended up giving me enough clues to figure out who was behind the car crash and the leaked pictures."
