34-Dispute.

It was a nice cold day to smoke a cigarette. Not too harsh, but just a little foggy.

Yan Jiayi was on his way back from outside, ready to brew a hot cup of coffee. But upon seeing Shun brooding at his table, he quickly made his way towards him instead. "Why the long face? Couldn't find anything yet?"

Shun shook his head as he rubbed his worn out eyes. "Quite the opposite actually. The guy has been reported several times for assault, committing sodomy without consent, and for replicating illegal goods."

Jiayi parted his lips in amazement as he leaned back on his chair. "Mm... he just seems like a common CEO to me." Shun nodded while going over his papers once more. "I had thought so too. So i checked the guy that has been coming here and reporting him every week. His name is Lai Yanlin, not too young- not too old. But get this- he has worked under Han Delun as his secretary for over six years. So i asked, how come a person at such a high position leave his job, and report his boss for committing a felony?"

Jiayi contemplated in wonder, also curious. "Maybe.. he held a grudge against him?" Shun shook his head. "That would be unreasonable. I did a check-up on Lai's past, and i found out that he left school before the age of fourteen, to work at a bar to support his grandparents. His educational background doesn't qualify to work at such a high position."

"I see... so why hold a grudge when Han Delun is a savior?" Shun smacked the table. "Exactly! I found this receipt from seven years ago, and it's from the same bar as the one Lai worked at. On this day stated, Delun went for a visit- and the very next day he began to work by his side."

Jiayi furrowed his brows. "Your... point is still unclear to me. Why would he hire an unprofessional bum as his secretary? Even a man of such high status as him wouldn't be dumb enough to hand down important documents to him."

Shun yelled loudly, startling the other policemen nearby. "HAH! to answer that, i looked into his internet profile and look what i found."

Jiayi grabbed the file at hand and flipped it open. "This is... his picture?" Shun smirked. "Look closely." So the latter did. But no matter how much he stared at it, he was still as clueless as ever. "...okay what the hell am i supposed to be looking at?" Shun sighed and tapped on the picture. "He is handsome!"

Jiayi irked his face. "...right. And what does that have to do with anything?"

"Remember how i told you that there have been reports on him about committing sodomy? Well, i checked every single one of those people who had filed in those reports and get this! They were all handsome!"

Jiayi finally got the hint and gasped. "Wait- so this Lai guy might've been forced to commit physical activities in return of working as his secretary."

Shun continued his sentence. "Yes- and who could say no to such a high amount, when you have a family you need to feed?"

"But then he got enough of it. I think this part stays as a blank-" But Shun smirked. "Not exactly. On the year of 2017, Han Delun was accused of rape, and was to stand trial if it weren't for his monetary power. But several months later, a picture of the victim was released in the black market for selling purposes- which, was again silenced by the one and only. He payed off the media and deleted all clues leading to the pictures."

"So i checked his police records- and what do you know. He was supposed to be taken in for questioning, despite there being no evidence left for an arrest. But that day, he didn't show up. Or he did- but there was no statement given."

Jiayi frowned as he picked up the given file and opened it to find an empty piece of paper. It had only one word on it; "...exterminated? What- his statement, or the case?"
