Yibo was tired as he walked back inside the company, the moon already high and bright, yet the sky stayed dark. The building was quiet with no one around, except for the bodyguards who were mainly asleep or playing video games on their phones.

After arriving at the floor where Duyi's office was at, he leaned against his door and knocked. "Come in." Yet the door had already been open as he said that. "...why did you even knock then."

Yibo shrugged as he took a seat on the couch before his table. "It's late, and I'm pissed. I already have someone waiting for me at home, so I'm not sure as to why i'm here at this hour of the day."

Duyi contemplated on what to say as he stood up, his expression somehow serious yet sad. "I'm leaving here." Yibo rasied his brows. "Already? And here I thought you were young and healthy." Duyi gave him a look before sighing. "Fengge has already been working as the vice president for too long. So I will go and take over the company branch in Korea instead."

Yibo squinted his eyes, unsure of what to make out of this situation. "Since when have you thought about what others think? I highly doubt that your irrationally made decision is so that Fengge can get a promotion."

"I have thought long about it, and even had a meeting with the board this morning to put my decision into action." Yibo sighed. "And seeing how you tell me of it could only mean they've agreed." Duyi looked out the window and nodded. "And what of Cui Yi? I thought you guys were good together."

"What of him indeed. Once he realises the bastard i am, I'm sure he will leave without even looking back." Yibo frowned, now standing up. "Why? Don't you care?"

"It is because I care. I don't deserve him. Nor did I deserve you. I just... called you here to see that expression one more time is all."  Yibo's lids fell, his expression stiff. "My disappointed face?" Duyi smiled. "Precisely. It reminds me of the the past when we first met. And... of the wrongs I've done to you."

Yibo raised his hand to shake it as though he were brushing the words away. "Yea yeah... what times to remember. You dick."

Duyi raised one of his brows, his hands clasped behind. "Right. Don't forget to bid my farewells to Zhan. I'll still keep in contact with Fengge, so you know how to reach me."

The latter was about to say something more, but ended up stopping when he heard his phone ring. Duyi simply smiled at that and nodded so that he may take the call without worries.

So Yibo walked out with his phone on his ear. "Zhan? Did you rip the tapes or something?"

"Yeah... about that- .... oh, my bad ahem, i meant, oH nO I hAve bEeN kidNapPed heeelpp....... was that okay?" Yibo furrowed his brows as he then heard his mother's' voice. "You better come to the train station. He doesn't have any money to go back."

And just like that they hung up, leaving Yibo with an unreadable expression. Without sparing another moment, he left Duyi without saying goodbye and ran. There was certainly no way he was going to leave them together despite not knowing what was going on.

In the meantime, Zhan sighed as he leaned his head against the cold bench below him, Qingyi sitting just beside his arm. "I thought you were an actor, what the hell was that?"

Zhan rolled his eyes. "Yibo can see beyond my acting. And besides, it's not like your threat was a threat. Did you even tell him which train station we are at? There is like twelve in the area. And it's two AM in the morning." Qingyi thought for a bit before grabbing his phone again. "I'll just send him the location."
