It was an evening at the shore, the moment serene just like his heart.

He stared out at the sunset colouring the sky in amber red, while the birds flapped their wings toward it. The wind was powerful enough to heave the waters, causing big waves to form, yet when it hit Zhan's face it became only softer, making a hair or two fly down on his face.

As he tucked his hair back with a smile, he slowly stood up and walked up to the edge of the terrace before leaning against the cold bars. The view before him was as beautiful as the memories that were yet to come, yet to be made. The horizon ahead reminded him of his future, not alone, but with the one he loved. He glanced down at his empty hands, raising them up to watch as the sunlight peaked from between them, causing his eyes to glisten like black pearls.

But those hands didn't stand cold no more, as two slender hands reached out from behind him and covered them in their embrace. Zhan smiled at how warm his hands felt, slowly leaning his back towards his chest.

"You look really pretty." His deep voice left his core shivering, while his face turned to the side, letting his nose brush against the skin on his neck. "You smell good." Yibo smiled as his hand slowly led him to turn around, his eyes later gazing over his body. "No, but you actually look really handsome. Did you dress up on your own?"

Zhan scrunched his nose slightly, accompanied by a sad smile. "You talk as if i don't know how to dress." Yibo chuckled. "I know you do. I just... don't know how else to say how wonderful you look." Zhan blushed after the third time he said so, his head leaning froward to cover his baffled expression. "Y-you look good too."

"Just good?" Zhan gave him a second glance, his eyes lowering all the way down to his shoes. "...really good. And... all those things you said to me.... too." Yibo raised his brow, a little amused. "Xiao Zhan, are you seriously acting so shy after all those nights of shamelessly begging me for pleasure?" Zhan pursed his lips before turning around with crossed arms. "H-hey... it's because... tonight is special."

Yibo then couldn't help but hug him tightly from behind, later kissing his cheek many times. Zhan gave out soft laughs as Yibo pampered him with a trail of pecks down his skin. "Fi- fine- come on, let's eat."

Both later went up to the only table on the terrace and took their seats. "Where did you find this place anyway?" Zhan smiled as he poured some wine. "It was Cui Yi. I told him that it was going to be our first date and he recommended this place for me. Apparently the villa belonged to his late father, and he had never taken a step in it. He said it had a terrace that looked out to the sea, a kitchen for me to cook , and some sheets."

Yibo hummed, reminding himself of his own villa by the beach. They should definitely visit that place sometime. "A good place for a date indeed. But sheets you say.... so you want to spend the night with me?" Zhan blushed slightly, his gaze later averting to the side as he placed the bottle down. "There is also this place towards the woods in the back. A glasshouse if i'm right. We--"

"Then... we can visit it after we eat." The latter hummed, his lips flushed and red. Yibo glanced at them, fighting the urge to jump on him here and then. But he knew to keep his cool as he turned his head slightly to crack it.

Zhan looked at him with big eyes, wondering if he was nervous. To help him loosen up, he decided to change the subject. "So... how was the meeting with the cast?" Yibo grabbed his wine to drink a sip, shrugging slightly after. "It wasn't so bad. You know how Eight is with his hysterical speeches."

Zhan chuckled. "Well I certainly remember that his nicely unhinged behaviour just made working all the more interesting." Yibo smiled. "How can someone be unhinged but in a nice way?" The latter then shrugged. "Well, that's the mystery of Eight Huang i guess."
