Why hello there!
If you've read the story this far then thank you very much! It only means that I was successful in keeping you entertained until the end, which makes me more than happy and pleased. (you can't see it but i'm kowtowing...)

And for those who didn't read it till the end, or gave it one look and decided it was shit... it's fine.

Well, going back to the characters. Each and every one of them had an important part in the story, even the ones who appeared only once or twice. If it has caused you complications in remembering some, or made you confused, there is a character sheet at the end of this chapter. (although it won't make sense to post it in the last chapter after having read the whole thing.... well, if you do come back for a re-read, then now you know;;;;)

Anyways ahem, I thank you my lovely reader, for giving me support to continue writing. And I also feel the most pleased with the votes I have gotten. Every little thing matters. (you do not know of the times I have squealed upon seeing one vote for one chapter, it means more than one would think X)))))

Anyways, here is the character sheet followed by my last words. But beware that they include SPOILERS, so read at your own risk~

Character Sheet for Behind The Red Curtain

Zhou Cheng- Duyi's little brother

Zhou Duyi- Cheng's older brother, the director of the entertainment industry which I never had to mention the name of (now no more TT..)

Hu Li- the bar owner at Zui-qian street

Wu Nuwa- the manager under Hu Li's bar

Qin Fang & Song Lei- random characters that were used at the get together, never to be seen again, they were there so the scene wouldn't feel lonely

Meng Shun- A private detective, a close friend of Zhan, and last but not least Hu Li's ex lover (I wonder if any felt sad for their break-up) he's just bad at relationships, doomed to be single forever maybe.... well, he is trying

Tang Tao- Zhan's manager (or ex-manager >:0, you know Yibo ripping his stitches was personal)

Zeng Huizhong- Yibo's manager (I just like him due to him being able to match up with Yibo's energy)

Xie Yunru- Just a random bastard from Zhan's past, I didn't have much planned for him- but just to spice things up? There was a long plot ahead, and I wanted to leave the good "contra" characters for the later times to come if you know what I mean... eheh~

Xiao Deming- Zhan's father (I don't hate him, just wondering..)

Dai Pengfei- the chef of the bakery "La Frey"

He Suyin- Pengfei's manager and server at "La Frey"

Han Delun- owner of Han industries... or should I say the ex-owner... just another bast-

Yan Jiayi- a private detective, Shun's coworker, and Jia Li's ex-step-brother

Fang Jia Li- Jiayi's ex-step-sister, and Yibo's ex (for those who didn't get it, Jiayi and Jia Li's parents got married, and then split up. The two are not related in any way, other than the momentary marriage that took only a couple years to break apart

Lai Yanlin- old worker of Delun (appeared for a couple chapters, he wasn't a major character but still played the main role in connecting the dots in Shun's investigation on Delun's case) him showing a slight interest in Yibo was purely for fun too, to bring Zhan's jealousy out a little ehehe...

Fang Sile- Zhan's old partner (one of the reasons for me bringing him up, was for the readers to see the character development Zhan has throughout the story. It was for him to face his past, and to move on from his lingering pain) once he saw him, he realised that the feelings he had felt for him in the past were far from love, and thought of his love for Yibo to judge that,,, which was a heartwarming scene.. :,)

Dong- the bribed detective that questioned Delun on 2017 (remember the guy that Shun mentioned for 0.5 seconds? no? ...me neither

Cui Yi- doctor at Huang hospital, and an old friend of Yibo from the studious time of their lives..

Su Meilin & Su Mei- twin doctors (subordinates) under Cui Yi, and his cousins

Zheng Fengge- the vice president of the entertainment company,,, should we now call him the new president?

Eight Huang- the infamous movie director in China (no major role, I just couldn't leave their occupation out of the story,,, as it is the part of half their lives...)

Nuo Li- Eight Huang's secretary, and Hu Li's sister (a sister because why not... also needed a reason for Eight to visit the bar, in order to get involved with Yibo,,,, in a comfortable way that is)

Wang Haoran- Yibo's father (he's mysterious, let's leave it at that)

Wang Qingyi- Yibo's mother (for those wondering if the divorce was successful, it was not) soon after the trial, Haoran left for his work overseas while Qingyi remained where she was. She only refused to receive money from Haoran, and began working at a restaurant with little to no working experience. Despite having put up a fight momentarily, she gave up after seeing that even her son wasn't by her side, yet she respected that understandingly (so did her words mean anything to Yibo? sometimes, they do, sometimes they don't. Words are just as easy to take back as said)

And that is it! Remember, that in my story there are no such things as villains, there is no such thing as good or evil, but only the choices a human makes. And those choices may simply effect those around us in a negative, or a positive way. But neither makes us evil, just selfish maybe.

That is why, there is no fault put in any of my characters, as all the choices they have made is for themselves. Like how Haoran left without having a care for his family, like how Qingyi gave up despite choosing otherwise, like how Deming chose to challenge himself in order to help Zhan fight off his fear, like how Shun let Jiayi go despite the guilt he would've felt for Zhan, or like how Yibo decided to leave all his pain behind and hold Zhan's hand, so that they may walk on their very own path.

It was all a romance at the end, hopeless or hopeful. One may find the heart to survive such things, as our choices are never limited, but are left to be spread only wider for different possibilities to come. As long as one has the perspective to understand, a curious mind to explore all before us, and the heart to be brave to see more, you will continue to live only more excitingly.

As so the ending defines. Once again, I thank you for reading my book, and hope that you have a wonderful life ahead of you! Never be afraid to experiment, as we do not know, wether the afterlife is real to exist or not. Only you can judge you, and only you.
