Ch2. Pass time

-I'm going to pass time here-
Y/n and Luz have been staying with Eda and king, learning how to do magic with glyphs.

Going to Hexside and trying what magic they want to study.

Everything has been going great.

Luz encountering new friends, learning more magic..

Y/n trying to tag along or just stick with Luz.

But it hasn't been working.

They've been going on missions.

Nothing too bad.

Until one mission;

"This cave is pretty cool!" Luz said twirling around.

"Yeah, oh and be careful here. I've been told there is some sort of magic gem or something, somewhere in the cave. I'm going to look for some gold. It could be of use!" Eda said walking away.

Luz gasped quietly.

It startled Y/n.

"Luz! What happened are you..oh what is that?" Y/n looked and saw a rock floating. It was magenta.

"I don't know but I wanna touch it!" Luz muttered reaching for it.

"Luz no! Eda said no touching anything"

"It doesn't look dangerous.."

Y/n grabbed Luz's hands.

"Luz no, come on let's go!—ugh Luz! Come on!"

"It's just one little touch! Y/n come on!"

They began fighting, y/n trying to lead Luz away.

But what they didn't realize Luz bumped into the statue where the Rock was.

It began to glow pink.

"Oh no..shoot I didn't mean too—"

"Luz look out!"

A bright pink light was heading to Luz.

Y/n noticed it and pushed Luz out of the way.

"Y/N!"

The light hit Y/n and knocked her back.

"Oh no no no no no no..stupid Luz! Stupid! Please y/n! I'm sorry! I should have listened!"

"Luz? Y/n? What happened!?.." Eda ran over and gasped.

Y/n began to wake up.

As her eyes opened both Eda and Luz stared at her.

"Look! Your eye is pink! Well dark pink! That's cool!" King said.

"Pink..?"

"It's okay Luz! It was just an accident. Just let her rest. I'm not sure what it was. You said it was a magenta rock?..I'm not sure if it was the gem. But we have to keep an eye on her. She is a human. She's different"
