Hermione couldn't believe her eyes as she stared at Betty White, who continued smiling and waving at her like Hermione was an old friend. Hermione flipped the card around where she proceeded to read the back.

Betty White-- First Muggle-Born Witch to enter the Wizarding World on Record.

Considered by many the greatest witch of the ancient days, Betty White is best known for her ability to speak the Tongue of Beasts and was brilliant around animals of all kinds, fighting for the rights of both Muggle-borns, Half-Breeds, and Squibs, and her supposed affair with Salazar Slytherin which many believe false. Betty White enjoys helping animals and being complete funny.

"Neville do you know this woman?" Hermione asked him, holding the card out to him. Neville look at the card before laughing.

"No! She was born around the time Hogwarts was created and died before most of my family was born." He stated to her. Hermione gazed down at the woman, who was now lightly dancing in her seat and mumbling a song she didn't quite understand. She was left in confusion. If this was the Betty White, there was no way her Grandma could be working for her, let alone that blond boy's parents be in the same year as her in school. Maybe it was a different Betty White, Hermione thought as she couldn't help but go through her Chocolate Frog cards. She didn't get another Betty White, but she did get a Circe, Cliodna, Magenta Comstock, Miranda Goshawk, Celestina Warbeck, Merlin, Morgan Le Fay, Wendelin The Weird, Gulliver Pokeby, and Newt Scamander.

She sighed in defeat before moving her hand over to grab a box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans.

"You want to be careful there. They do mean it! Every flavor! You get the normal sort chocolate and peppermint, but then there's spinach and liver and even tripe!" Neville warned her. They had fun eating them though. Hermione got coconut, apple, strawberry, coffee, sardine, and curry. She burst out laughing as Neville panted wildly after eating a pepper one. They were having a good time until suddenly Neville turned back to worrying again.

"Oh no! Trevor!" Neville shouted while looking down at his pocket.

"Who?"

"My toad! He's gone again!" Neville cried, "Oh, Gran's going to kill me if I lose him!"

"Don't worry Neville. We'll search around." Hermione assured him while telling him that Trevor couldn't have gone far. Neville went down on the left while Hermione quickly headed down the right. She knock on doors and asked around for people, explaining the situation about Neville's lost toad. She scurried down further till she reached a compartment with a redheaded boy and boy with black hair. She peered inside before they noticed her there.

"Have you seen a toad? A boy named Neville's lost one." She explained to them.

"No, we've haven't seen a toad." the boy with red hair told her. Hermione then noticed that he had his wand out and couldn't help but ask.

"Are you doing magic? Let's see it, then." She said. She didn't mean for it to sound a bit smug like it did, but she was too curious to ask for a pardon. The boy cleared his throat.

"Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow, turn this stupid, fat rat yellow." he said but nothing happened. Hermione tilted her head as she tried to figure out how that was even a spell.

"Are you sure that's a real spell? It's not very good, is it? I've tried a few simple spells myself but it all worked for me. Of course, I had my Grandma there to talk me through it." Hermione stated to them, "I'm Hermione Granger by the way. Who are you?"

"Ron Weasley." The red head said.

"I'm Harry Potter." the other one said.

"Are you really?" Hermione jumped a little, "I know all about you. Neville told me a little but then I did some more reading and you're in Modern Magical History, The Rise and Fall of the Dark Arts and Great Wizarding Events of the Twentieth Century!

"I am?"

"Didn't you know? I certainly would have found out everything I could if it was me. Do you two know which house you'll be in? My Grandma told me I can be in whatever house I want to be. But I think I would like it to be either Ravenclaw or Gryffindor." Hermione stated to them. The two boys stared at her like her head had spun around. Hermione felt they were ready for her to make her leave.

"Well I better go back and help Neville find his toad. You two better change, you know, I expect we'll be there soon." she suggested to them before walking out of the compartment. She hadn't even walked a full foot away when she overheard...

"Whatever House I'm in, I hope she's not in it!"

Hermione felt herself freeze up a bit before shaking her head. She wasn't going to cry over some foolish boy and how he felt about her. So with her head held high, Hermione proceeded down the departments.
