Hermione was thrilled when Potions was over with. Throughout the whole lesson when there were awful messes like Neville burning Seamus's cauldron to the point it melt, Harry seemed to be Snape's choice to blame it on. She feared he would say something since her potion was one of the few that wasn't a problem, but he merely nodded and moved on to another section.

As soon as it was over, Hermione walked over to where a small wooden house on the edge of the forbidden forest that had to be Hagrid's hut. Once she knocked on the door, a loud booming bark came echoing through.

"Back, Fang! Back!" Hagrid's voice spoke. Soon the door open as Hagrid stood in the doorway.

"Hello, you must be Hermione. Merlin's beard! You look just like your Grandma did when she was at Hogwarts! Wonderful woman she is!" Hagrid cheered before motioning for her inside. Hermione narrowed her eyes, recalling how her Grandma claimed she never went to Hogwarts, while she walked inside. Hermione paused when she saw Harry and Ron sitting at the table. They all shared looks of disbeliefs before Hagrid spoke up.

"Guys, I'm sure you know Miss Granger. I know her Grandma. Lovely woman she is. A completely delightful lady. Thought something happened to her, to be quite honest since she hadn't really sent anybody letters for years." Hagrid stated while he headed to pour Hermione another cup of tea. Hermione took a seat beside Harry, who shuffled around in his seat.

"Seems like your Grandma is really popular at Hogwarts, Hermione. Even Snape mentioned her in Potions." Harry pointed out.

"Of course, he did!" Hagrid billowed out, "The two of them were close together than anything. Smartest people in potions they were."

Hermione seemed to freeze completely. Her Grandma did use to hand out with Snape, but Hermione wasn't haven't a hard time given what her Grandma had informed her.

"My Grandma said she is a squib and she never went to Hogwarts." Hermione admitted to Hagrid. Hagrid seemed to freeze completely to where he stood.

"Oh... maybe I'm thinking about another family member of yours. Her sister. Yeah, that's right! I think it was her sister she told me to look after you." Hagrid said, "How's your brother Charlie? I liked him a lot-- great with animals."

Hermione wondered if  he changed the subject to avoid something. She knew it couldn't have been her Grandma's sister since Hermione hadn't met her and why would she write a letter to Hagrid to watch over her when she knew nothing about Hermione.  Hermione soon took noticed as Harry had picked up a piece of newspaper from the table. The title read Gringotts Break-In Latest. Harry seemed to nearly faint at the sight of it.

"Hagrid!" Harry shouted suddenly, "that Gringotts break-in happened on my birthday! It might've been happening while we were there!"

Hermione's eyes shot opened in shot as she turned to look at Hagrid. He seemed to freeze up completely this time. Instead of talking more about the subject, Hagrid offered something called a Rock Cake. When they left the hut, They had their pockets filled with Rock Cakes they had been too polite to turn down. While Harry seemed busy to think about the break-in at the bank, Hermione was busy with her own problems. She didn't understand why her Grandma would lie about not going to Hogwarts and to not be a witch.  What was she hiding? Was she in trouble? Hermione couldn't help but feel like Hagrid knew something about her Grandma that he didn't want to tell her.
