Hermione pulled her head from the Pensieve. She didn't know what to make of the memory. Could it be that the wand was cursed? But then why would she have to go through these trials in order to achieve a wand? Hydra also mentioned that it brought forth negative emotions that overcome the wielder? She didn't know what to make of it, but was sure to try to avoid it taking over her mind... despite not knowing how it would do so.

It best that I start to head back, Hermione thought, knowing Sirius and Remus were probably getting anxious and wondering if she was alright. Just as Hermione went to turn, she felt her body stiffened.

The room had shifted into a strange room full of shelves holding foggy glass balls. She spun around trying to figure out where she was. It wasn't long before it suddenly came to her. This was the room Mr. Weasley had been attacked in... but why was she seeing this? Her thoughts were cut short when the familiar scream echoed through the air.

"Harry?" Hermione mumbled while she ran down the hallway, searching for him. She ran around like a chicken with its head cut off. It wasn't until she reached a shelf marked ninety-seven when she saw Harry scrawled over the floor.

"Get up you stupid boy!" a familiar voice spoke out, "get up and get what I desire."

"Never..." Harry huffed as he weakly attempted to lift up his wand. However, his wand flicked outside his hand.

"Foolish boy. You will fetch it for me one way or another... I will see to it." Voldemort spoke. Suddenly, a flash of green light flooded the room.

Hermione found herself screaming and collapsing onto her knees. She glance around to see the room around her had returned back to what it was. Tears formed on the brim of her eyes. She didn't know what she saw. Was it real? Was it a trick? Either way, she shouldn't take what she saw lightly.

She rushed out of the room and hurried across the bridge and make her way outside of the cave. She was halfway out of the cave when a billowing roar caused her to pause. She turned around in time to see a dragon climbing down the walls. It had jet-black scales with a glowing amber-red underbelly; spikes that appeared like they were made entirely out of rubies ran down its spine. It shifted its head until its golden cat-like eyes landed directly onto her.

Hermione's heart began racing as she started worrying about what the dragon would do to her as it slowly made its way to her. She backed away as fast as she could but the dragon was quickly closing the distance between each other. Hermione held out her wand, ready to strike if need be. As the beast came closer (its teeth bare and ready to snap around her tiny body), she noticed something around its neck. It was a collar that appeared to be made of the same gem as Hydra's wand was made of.

That was when a crazy idea popped into her head. Reaching out her wand, she held it up as far towards the dragon as she could. She closed her eyes, silently praying this would work or otherwise she was going to be eaten alive. She listened as it stomped closer... and closer... and... nothing.

Slowly, Hermione opened her eyes.

The dragon loomed over her; its eyes staring intensely at the wand in her hand. It then shifted its body and lowered its head into a bowing position. Hermione sighed in relief as she lowered her wand.

"C-Can you help me?" Hermione asked it. It lifted its head, awaiting its next demand, "I need to get to the Ministry of Magic. I think my friend is in danger."

The dragon lowered itself down onto its belly and outstretched its wings to allow her to mount it. Hermione hurried towards it and climbed onto the back of its neck.

"Lets go." Hermione told it. With a quick raise of its wings, the dragon stormed its way to the exit of the cave. She hung tightly as she could against the dragon's neck as it bolted from the cave and went soaring up into the air. They flew higher and higher until they reached over the mountains where other dragons were crawling around upon. She was so engrossed in the sight, she nearly forgotten about Harry... until..

"HERMIONE!"

Hermione turned her head to see Remus and Sirius flying to try and keep up with her.

"Slow down a bit, let them catch up." Hermione ordered the dragon. The dragon paused for a minute or two until Remus and Sirius flew right beside her.

"What is going on?" Remus asked her.

"It's Harry. I think he's in trouble." Hermione told them, "I saw him in the Department of Ministries and Voldemort is trying to force him to get something for him."

"Hermione, that does not make sense." Sirius stated, "Voldemort would have just killed Harry already."

"Unless he needs Harry to get whatever it is he wants." Hermione argued, "Shouldn't we check just to be sure?"

"Hermione is right, Sirius." Remus agreed, "We must ensure Harry isn't there."

Without another word exchanged, they flew as fast as they could to ensure Harry was safe.
