Dolores Jane Umbridge (High Inquisitor) has replaced Albus Dumbledore as Head of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry...

Hermione read off the parchment as she shook her head in disbelief. She couldn't believe Dumbledore was gone... actually truthfully gone. That was the conversation all over the school about how Dumbledore had escaped from everyone, though it differ how Dumbledore had escaped from them. That and how Umbridge couldn't get back into Dumbledore's office no matter how hard she tried.

But Umbridge being head of the school was only the tip of the iceberg. They found out Malfoy and a group of his friends were going around docking points because they were part of a group known as the Inquisitorial Squad and they could do so. Then they learned how Fred and George were planning on something big to do in Dumbledore's honor and as they were trying to flee the scene, Flich took away Harry from their group to Umbridge's office. Ron and her watched as Harry was dragged away.

She was was concerned about him. Ever since he came back after the incident, he wouldn't speak to her... let alone look at her. It made Hermione weird out by the thought of what Harry had witness during the incident that made him so uneasy that he couldn't even look at her. They were turning down the hallway when a pair of hands grabbed her and Ron's cloak then dragged them into the corner of the room.

"Don't scream!" Scabior's voice echoed into their ears.

"Scabior? What are you doing here? Actually... How did you get in here? Umbridge has this place lock up tight." Hermione asked him, curious of how he was able to make his way into the castle with everything that was going on.

"Please, I'm as sneaky as an ally cat." Scabior told her, "I came to give you a message from Elka. She told me to inform you to stay in the castle. No matter what! Do you understand me?"

"What's going on?" Hermione asked him.

"I'm not sure. But I bet you it has something to do with Iracebeth." Scabior told her.

"Has she made her move?" Hermione asked.

"We think so. Word has it, some people for St. Mungo's fourth floor has vanished without a trace." Scabior said, "Some of which had been rumored to serve Iracebeth herself."

"Why has no one mentioned it?" Ron asked.

"Because no one cares that much to know a bunch of St. Mungo's patients are on the loose; only that Azkaban has lost some of their dangerous foes." Scabior explained to them, "Now you must promise me, no matter what, you stay here in Hogwarts, right?"

"I'll try." Hermione told him.

"Don't try. Do!" Scabior spat then light patted her shoulders, "Sorry about that. I'm just saying... the world really has become a dangerous place... and your too precious for us to lose you right now."

Hermione opened her mouth to speak when a large BOOM echoed from the hallway.

"What the hell was that?" Ron asked as he bolted from their hiding place. Hermione began to make her way after him before pausing then turning back towards Scabior.

"Scabior, I must ask you a question." Hermione said.

"What is it?" He asked her.

"Is it possibly to tamper with a memory? Make it seem like something it isn't?" Hermione asked him. Scabior chuckled.

"Of course. It's as easy as removing a memory... why?" Scabior asked.

"I think Iracebeth is making up memories inside my head to make me appear guilty of something... it made me appear like I am hanging out with Barty Crouch Jr.... in a more intimate way." Hermione admitted to him. Scabior mumbled 'shit' before shaking his head.

"Anyone seen it?" Scabior asked.

"Only Snape... but I think he believes the memory is real even when I tried to explain to him it's not... I also fear Harry might be believing it though he didn't see it and I explain to him that I didn't do it." Hermione mentioned to him. Scabior swore under his breath again.

"Don't let anyone else see them! Watch your back! I fear she's trying to separate you from your friends, driving a wedge between you and them to make you easy pickings." Scabior advised her, "remind them constantly if you need to that you are on our side! She'll do anything to make your friends doubt you!"

Scabior pulled her into his arms and gently hugged her and mumbling to her that everything was going to be alright. Hermione couldn't help but bury her head into his neck, taking in the scene of musk and earth that drenched his entire clothes. As soon as they parted it, Hermione rushed down the corridor to join up with Ron in hopes of figuring out what was the entire commotion going on. When she reached down the first floor, her eyes widened as her mouth dropped to her chest.

Fireworks filled the corridors as they bursted in and out of classrooms. There were ones in the shape of dragons that soared through each one; spewing tons of sparkers all over and Rockets just ricocheting off the walls; sparklers were swirling around spelling out cuss words along with firecrackers that exploded like mines everywhere. They didn't seemed to be slowing down; in fact they seemed to find extra energy. Hermione burst out laughing as she watched the Professors just standing by with smudge faces as they kept calling Umbridge over to their classrooms to help them out. She was quite fond of Professor Flitwick who claimed he could have gotten rid of them himself but didn't know if he had the authority to get rid of them before slamming the door into Umbridge's face.

When she went to Gryffindor common room, she took a moment to congratulate them on their feat. Of course, Fred tried to convince her in on buying some, but she merely laughed in his face then motioned them along. She walked around until she was sitting beside Jordan, who was reading more books about magical creatures while Fuzzy was crawling around the table probably in search of dinner and her niffler was sniffling around for some loose shiny objects.

Soon Hermione went off to bed as she snuggled beneath the covers, listening to the bangs of fireworks from outside. As she was dozing off to sleep, she found herself dreaming. She could feel herself floating the air this time, looking down at everything. She could see she was flying over what appeared like a grassy area in the high mountain tops. She felt quite relaxed as she watched her soaring around a mountain side... until the air was littered with the house of high, billowing roars. Her eyes widened. She could see numerous dragons lying against the ground or soaring overhead.

Hermione spun around when she felt herself lowering to the ground. Softly she landed onto the ground and began walking across like she was just another dragon. She walked past plenty of dragons, that barely batted an eye on her while some turned their backs on her to focus on their nests of eggs. She walked over towards a large cave. There were strange carvings carved along the opening. She lifted her hand out as felt like a wall was there though she could not see one.

"Hermione..." a voice mumbled but it wasn't her voice.

Hermione jolted up into a sitting position as she breathe heavily as she clung her hand to her chest to steady her beating heart. She didn't understand what she had saw, but she felt there was some importance there... and she needed to go there.
