The feast was not like any of the several other Hogwarts feasts. She didn't know what was the best part of the entire thing. Whether it was Justin hurrying over towards them from the Hufflepuff table to wring their hands and apologize endlessly for suspecting him or Hagrid turning up at half past three, hugging the daylights out of the three of them or the six hundred points for Gryffindor securing the House cup for the second year or Professor McGonagall standing up to tell them exams had been canceled (though she was slightly upset but not entirely since she hadn't really been studying with all that was going on) or that Lockhart was not coming back as their professor.
The rest of the final term passed in a haze of sunshine and lost time. Hogwarts was back to normal except DADA classes were cancelled, Lucius Malfoy had been sacked as school governor and Draco wasn't strutting around the school as though he owned the place. Ginny even was back to her perky self again.
Soon it came time for them to get on the Hogwarts Express, which ended in a mix of giggles when learning Percy had a girlfriend, Penelope Clearwater the Ravenclaw Prefect, who was the same one he had been writing too all last summer and meeting with her all over the school... and confusion when Hermione mentioned to Harry and Ron alone in their compartment of what Dumbledore told her before she left the office.
"What does he mean certain creatures that you may least suspect may try to convince you down a dark path? Why would they want to do so? And what kind of creatures would be able to do it?" Ron asked, looking concerned and confused. Hermione shrugged her shoulders.
"Well we don't have to worry about that. Hermione is too stubborn to let anyone tell her what to do. Isn't that right, Hermione?" Harry stated with a bright grin plastered on his face while he was scribbling his phone number on pieces of parchment and handing it to them. After Harry explained to Ron about phones and how to use them properly, Hermione chuckled.
"Indeed-- and I'm going to spend my entire summer discovering more about my gifts... and my family... and most importantly about this truth we've been hearing so much about. I think I should visit Grandma's home. If there is anywhere to find answers, it's going to be there," Hermione admitted while they were walking through the gateway into the Muggle World, "But first I'll have to deal with my parents, they still are probably going to be furious with me for going to Hogwarts... and Grandma for allowing me to go. I wonder what Grandma is doing right now. Probably locked up in our house still facing punishment."
The unnamed pub was in the middle of no where... and its costumers weren't exactly the type of people who you would get friendly with. In fact, most of them were people you wanted to avoid at any cost and hope to never in your lifetime meet. One such person was none other then the famous savage werewolf, Fenrir Greyback. He practically own the pub with his pack, who took up most of it. Whenever Greyback's pack was in, most costumers stayed out to avoid making any mistakes to anger them.
Fenrir was sitting in a far corner of the pub, chugging ale while leaning against his seat with his second in command, Beta Scabior, who was sipping Fire Whiskey and checking out the ladies that came walking in. Fenrir wasn't interested in one night stands at the moment, he had too much on his plate.
He loomed over his countless maps of all the lands and seas on the planet, searching for more people he could bite and turn into new werewolves though he was still keeping a low profile from the idiots that worked at the Werewolf Capture Unit. It was more of a joke. Fenrir and most of his packs slipped from their grasps more times than they could count on all their fingers combined.
He was just about to take another sip of his ale when his eyes spotted a cloaked figure walking towards his table. The figure didn't even show any hesitation or any hint of turning the other way as they kept heading towards them. Fenrir could feel their gaze on him though he couldn't see it. His entire pack noticed, kept their eyes glued on the person yet didn't make a move. Scabior stood up, his hand reaching for his wand when Fenrir shot his hand up to stop Scabior from making another move.
"Well, well... this is a surprise. I never thought I'll see you rearing your head around here in the Wizarding World, especially with the rumors I've been hearing about you and the Ministry," Fenrir spoke as the figure lowered the hood from their face to reveal... Elka Ostrovsky.
