Hermione gasped as she saw the inside of the house. Her eyes couldn't keep her eyes glued to one spot. The kitchen was marvelous with all the dishes enchanted to wash and dry, and a long dining table with chairs all in and out of its place. In the living room, there were a set of knitting needles knitting by themselves making a sweater or blanket. There was soon a ringing sound that echoed throughout the house. Hermione walked a few feet to the side to find a large grandfather clock but instead of seeing numbers, she saw multiple hands with the faces of the Weasley family and all around the hands were a list of places.

"It's not much," Ron said, "But it's home."

"I think it's wonderful." Hermione said as she glanced over. While her Grandma was setting her coat on the back of a chair, the sounds of rapid footsteps came pounding down the stairs and soon Mrs. Weasley came storming towards them.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?"  Mrs. Weasley asked them. Hermione nearly fell backwards from the sudden scream. She soon laid her eyes on Hermione and Harry.

"Harry, Hermione, good to see you two," She told them before turning back to Ron and the twins, "Beds empty! No note! Car gone! You could have died! You could have been seen!"

"Of course, I'm not blaming you Harry and Hermione," Mrs. Weasley said as she grinned towards them.

"Actually, Mrs. Weasley, I came with my Grandma Elka." Hermione corrected her as she pointed over to her Grandma Elka, who was walking over towards them. Hermione didn't expect the reaction when Mrs. Weasley laid her eyes on Grandma Elka. Mrs. Weasley's mouth dropped to her chest as her eyes widened as large as an owl.

"Merlin's beard! I don't believe it!" Mrs. Weasley shouted as she made her way towards Grandma Elka, "I can't believe... I thought you vanished from the face of the earth."

Mrs. Weasley soon seemed to forget she was angry at her sons for taking that car and was now talking to Grandma Elka like they were old friends.

"Oh I hope you don't mind the surprise visit, Molly." Grandma Elka said.

"Not at all! I just can't believe you already have a grandchild... Elka?" Mrs. Weasley said Elka's name like it didn't fit right.

"Thank you. My daughter, Jean, and her husband have been frightened by a house-elf, warning them some bad thing is going to happen to Hermione. I tried to explain to them, it was just some person playing a prank on Hermione to frighten her away. And hope you don't mind if she stays for a while?"

"Not at all. She can stay with Ginny." Mrs. Weasley told her, "Now come on everyone, lets have some breakfast."

While the children were sitting down, Mrs. Weasley and Grandma Elka wander around the kitchen as they started to cook some breakfast for all them. All throughout, Mrs. Weasley would mumbled something about how her sons had some nerves to take the car.

"Of course, I don't blame, you dear," Mrs. Weasley told Harry again, "Arthur and I have been worried about the both of you, actually. Just last night, we were saying we'd come and visit you two if we hadn't heard back from you by Friday. BUT REALLY! Flying an illegal car halfway across the country!"

"It was cloudy, Mum!" Fred said.

"They were starving him, Mum!" George said. Hermione turned to look at Harry like she couldn't believe what she was hearing. How could anyone starve a child? Before anyone could say another word, the sound of footsteps came down the stairs. Ginny soon popped out from around the corner.

"Mum! Have you seen my jumper?" Ginny asked.

"Yes, Ginny. It was on the chair." Mrs. Weasley answered. Ginny's eyes soon landed right on Harry as her eyes widened.

"Hello," Harry said. Ginny soon shot back upstairs. Harry then turned around to look at Ron, "What did I do?"

"Oh, it Ginny. She's been talking about you all summer. Been real annoying." Ron stated. It soon didn't take long till all of their plates were cleaned off.

"Blimey! I'm tired. I think I'll go to bed..." Fred started when Molly shot him a glare.

"You will not." Mrs. Weasley snapped, "It's your own fault you've been up all night. You three will be de-gnome the garden for me. They're getting out of control again!"

"Oh, Mum--" Ron, Fred and George groaned.

"I'll help too," Hermione said, curious of what de-gnoming was.

"Same here," Harry agreed.

"You two are sweet, but it's dull work." Mrs. Weasley said while she walked over to the mantelpiece and picked up a book called Lockhart's Guide to Household Pests, "Now let's see what Lockhart's got to say on the subject,"

"Mum, we know how to de-gnome a garden--"

"Who's Lockhart?" Hermione asked, never hearing him.

"Oh, he is marvelous! He knows his household pests, all right, it's a wonderful book..." Molly explained.

"Translation, he's a dumbass! I can't believe you believe this crap. It's obvious he's a fraud. I know he is. I don't have the proof except for a feeling in my bones. And that's good enough for me." Grandma Elka said with a shake of his head, earning laughs from Harry, Ron and the Twins. Mrs. Weasley shook her head.

"You're still a stinker, Elka." Mrs. Weasley stated, earning a sly smile on Grandma Elka's face. While Mrs. Weasley and Grandma Elka proceeded to argue with each other, Ron and the Twins lead Hermione and Harry over towards the gardens.

"Muggles have garden gnomes, too, you know." Harry told Ron while they crossed the lawn.

"Yeah, I've seen those things they think are gnomes like fat little Santa Clauses with fishing rods..." Ron started when a little scuffling noise came from a peony bush, "This is a gnome!"

Hermione shrieked as she saw it was certainly nothing like Santa Claus. They were small and fat with pointy teeth. Ron grabbed hold of the gnome, which struggled in his grasp.

"Now this is what you have to do," Ron said before raising it over his head while spinning it around before releasing it. The poor gnome went soaring... and soaring... til it landed a few yards away.

"Oh! That's mean!" Hermione shouted.

"Hey! If you got a better way of doing this, then I would like to hear?" Ron asked her. Hermione scanned the grounded as she saw one popping its head from its hole. Hermione hurried over towards the gnome.

"Excuse me, I was wondering if you and your friends would be so kind as to leave the garden." Hermione asked them. The gnome merely blew her a raspberry in response. Hermione took a deep breath, figuring it would have to take more than kindness, "Now listen, here! I know very well, you guys don't like being pulled from your homes and then spun rapidly before being thrown across the yard! Well? Do you?"

The gnome growled, but Hermione could see it in its eyes that it agreed with her.

"Then, it would stand to reason, to make your homes somewhere else where you won't be disturbed by people. Do you think you could manage that?" Hermione asked it. The gnome looked towards the sides before slipping back under the ground. She was a bit fearful that it didn't work until she saw the gnome popping back up and crawling out before being followed by more gnomes from its hole and others as they headed across the lawn and made their way off. Ron stood with his mouth opened as Harry was grinning alongside the twins, who stared at her with impression. However it suddenly vanished when Ron's gulped and spoke in a squeaky voice,

"He's back."
