"I had just heard about Hermione's disappearance. It's a real shame, hope they find her soon and punish the people who did it." Hagrid told them while he passed around tea to the two of them. Harry tapped his thumbs against the tea cup. However, his thoughts turned when he noticed a hairy brown suit and a horrible yellow and orange tie hanging from Hagrid's wardrobe.

"What are they for, Hagrid?" he asked.

"Buckbeak's case against the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures. This coming Friday. I've already book the two beds on the Knight Bus... Hermione... *sob* she left me some notes for the trial to help me," Hagrid stated in between sobs that were starting to build up in his throat while he reached over to a small pile of notes, "This reminds me I wanted to talk to you guys about something... but it doesn't seem right to go on about."

"What is it?" Harry asked, interested.

"Well... Hermione... before she was napped. She's been coming to visit more and more since Christmas. She was feeling lonely because first you two weren't talking to her about the Firebolt and then with Scabbers... she cried a few times, you know... and I thought you two'd value your friend over a broomstick or rats. That's all." Hagrid explained to them. Harry now was really depressed. He didn't know Hermione was really feeling it lately. She just kept it all bottled like that it was hard to tell she was even feeling so remorseful.

"Well... when she gets rid of that cat, I'd speak to her again!" Ron said, angrily," Besides, her Grandma Elka said she was safe, right Harry?"

Harry's head shot up as his brain began stirring up thoughts. Hermione telling about her Great Grandmother Rose being one of the jurors in Fenrir Greyback's trial... him roaming around Hogwarts, keeping his eye on Hermione... Elka saying she was safe... no understanding why Fenrir was even here...

Then it hit him.

"GREYBACK!" Harry blurted out before turning to Harry. Hagrid stiffened in his chair.

"Greyback? What do you know about that devil?" He asked, furiously.

"He's been roaming around Hogwarts! He's been keeping an eye on Hermione!" Harry stated. Hagrid gasped.

"That monster's been here and I didn't noticed? Bloody hell, and I'm responsible for Hermione..." Hagrid mumbled before being on the verge of tears.

"No! Hagrid, listen. Ron, remember the part we couldn't put together of understanding why Fenrir Greyback was here... and Elka just suddenly blurting out that she is safe... and Hermioen told me about how her Great Grandmother Rose knew Greyback in the day... what if Elka was the one, who got Fenrir to keep an eye on Hermione?" Harry suggested to them. Hagrid gasped.

"Elka asking Fenrir to do her bidding? There are a lot more better options than him, trust me!" Hagrid stated.

"Unless... Fenrir had debt to pay. Think about, Fenrir doesn't seem like the guy to keep debt over his head? He would want to pay it back as soon as possible. He would do anything!"

"But how are you going to prove that Elka even been in the same room with Greyback? I don't think Elka's going to admit she hired a savage werewolf to watch her Granddaughter?" Ron asked him.

"Rose's dairy? Hermione had it on her person and it had details of her life! Maybe the debt isn't exactly towards Elka but towards Rose! We get that diary! We find those answers." Harry stated.

"One problem, Hermione probably wouldn't leave it lying idly by. And we can't get in the girls' dorms. What do we do?" Ron asked.

"You want me to go through Hermione's things?" Ginny asked, horrified, as she stared at Harry and Ron.
