The group turned where the voice came from in time to see Lucius making his way towards them; his wand drawn out. Lucius paused a few feet away from them as he outstretched his hand.
"Hand over the prophecy and no one will get hurt." Lucius ordered them.
"Try anything and I'll smash it!" Harry threatened. A roar of laughter echoed from behind Lucius as a silhouette of a woman walking towards them.
"He knows how to play," a woman spoke, "Itty, bitty, baby Potter."
"Bellatrix Lestrange," Neville whispered from behind. Hermione tightened her hand over her wand when she realized who the woman was and was prepared to take her down if need be.
"What kind of prophecy are we talking about?" Harry asked them.
"What kind of prophecy?" Bellatrix repeated, "You jest, Harry Potter."
"No, I'm not jesting. How come Voldemort wants it?" Harry Potter demanded.
"You dare speak his name?" Bellatrix hissed, "You dare speak his name you filthy half-blood!"
"That's rich given your own leader is a half-blood himself!" Hermione shot at her.
"Shut you mouth, Mudblood!" Bellatrix screamed before waving her wand at her.
"Protego!" Hermione spoke. She expected a clear shield to reflect the spell away, only to find a swirl of flames shooting out of the tip of her wand that formed a circle in front of her before swallowing the spell whole then vanished entirely.
"Bloody hell," Ron mumbled as almost everyone was stunned by what she did.
"Now... tell me what is so special about this prophecy?" Harry repeated himself.
"You honestly don't know?" Lucius asked, "Well that explains why you haven't came earlier to retrieve. The Dark Lord had thought by him showing you this place that it would entice you enough to come."
"Why did he want me?" Harry asked.
"Why!? Because the only people who are permitted to retrieve a prophecy from the Department of Mysterious are those about whom it was made." Lucius stated.
"That doesn't explain why he tricked Hermione into coming here," Harry questioned.
"He wasn't the one who summoned her."
The hair on the back of her neck stood up while she turned around. Barty Crouch Jr. began making his way towards the group. The group began shifting their gaze between Barty and Lucius, unsure of what was going on. Perhaps because Barty was suppose to be working with the Dark Lord, but Hermione, Ron, and Harry knew better.
"What is the meaning of this?" Lucius asked, sounding confused at the rest of them.
"This does not concern you, Lucius! You can have this lot," Barty informed him, "I just came for Hermione."
"Over my dead body!" Ron shouted while he held out his wand directly at Barty. The room was filled with a billow of giggles as someone came walking behind Barty.
"It will be our pleasure," the woman (who Hermione had recognized as Miss Moss from St. Mungo) stated, "this world could do with one less weasel."
"Let's not lose our heads now," Barty demanded, giving a slight look to Miss Moss.
"I ought to blow your head from your shoulders for betraying the Dark Lord!" Bellatrix screamed at him.
"Hermione, we got to get out of here." Harry mumbled, "any idea."
"Not now." Hermione admitted.
"I would like to see you try," Barty hissed, "I suggest you busy yourself with whatever it is you lot came for while we be off with what we came for."
"I have an idea," Harry whispered while nudging towards the shelves around them, "on the count to three, we attack those globes and hopefully wee can create a diversion that will allow us to get out of here."
"Ok," Hermione agreed while she held her wand out until it was pointing at one of the shelves.
"One," Harry mumbled.
"We have wasted enough time!" Lucius growled at them.
"Two,"
"Give me the prophecy!" Lucius ordered.
"Three!" Harry screamed as everyone began casting their spells at the shelves. A thick blue smoke came puffing out of the broken orbs and consuming the entire air.
"RUN!" Harry ordered them.
Hermione couldn't tell exactly what happened next. All she remembered was everyone going their separate ways to try and escape from the Death Eaters. She, Ron, and Harry ran down aisles as they tried to search for the exit while shooting spells to ward off the Death Eaters.
"Where the bloody hell is the door?" Ron asked while he shot a spell behind him.
Right... the voice from earlier spoke within Hermione's head.
"Right!" Hermione shouted as they turned right.
"How do you know?" Harry shouted just as Hermione heard the voice telling her to turn 'left'.
"Call it a hunch." Hermione lied while sh kept listening to the voice telling her where they needed to go.
It felt like an hour had pass when Hermione spotted the door.
"Over here!" Hermione told them as she turned down the aisle. They had reached the door when they saw Ginny, Luna, Neville and Jordan running towards them.
"Hurry!" Harry screamed out to them. As they were getting closer to the door, a couple of Death Eaters came rushing from the sides.
"Look out!" Hermione yelled.
The Death Eaters began lifting up their wands towards them when Ginny turned around in time and held out to her wand.
"REDUCTO!" Ginny screamed. The two Death Eaters went soaring down the aisle, landing onto their backs. However, the shelves began collapsing towards them with orbs flying throughout the air.
"GO! GO! GO!" Harry shouted while they hurried through the door.
But instead finding a room, they found themselves falling through the air. The group screamed at the top of their lungs as they were tumbling downwards. Hermione closed her eyes and waited to hit the ground. However, she started to find herself slowing down until she came to a standstill. She peeked a little to see she was a foot away from the ground. Before she could figure out what was going on, she found herself finally falling onto the ground with a light thud.
Hermione groaned as she slowly lifted herself from the ground. She looked around to see everyone climbing to their feet until she shifted her gaze ahead of her. There wasn't really anything within the room... except for an ancient-looking archway that stood in the middle.
