A few minutes after Harry had left, Hermione excused herself to get a book from her room. As she was halfway down the hall, she some a glistening light floating overhead. She twirled around until she was facing the stairs, leading down to the first floor. She shook her head, thinking she must have been seeing things. However, as she turned to go to her room when that same glow appeared again. Her eyes widened when she saw the most beautiful butterflies fluttered around. Their wings shimmer like real jewels as a trail of gold glitter flew behind it.

"Ron! Ginny! Guys! Come out and see this," She called out. However, no one seemed to be answering. The butterflies flew around her a couple of times before flying down the corridor and the stairs.

"Wait!" Hermione called out as she hurried after them. She stumbled down the stairs and chased them out the front door. A cold breeze slammed itself against her front, but her mind kept ordering her to keep following it. She jogged down the street, stumbling through the snow, as she kept following them. She found herself standing in the middle of the most beautiful park she ever seen. It was covered in snow, which glisten like stars, as it was filled with gold and silver decorations lined across the fences and pine trees. Fairies flew across the sky, buzzing to each other, as most of them zoomed past Hermione. Two of them paused a moment in front of her before grabbing hold a few locks of her hair and began to pull her off into a direction.

"Where are we going?" She whispered, "What do you want to show me?"

They continued to buzz and nudge her forward. She followed them along a lovely brick road until they came to the end of it. A ivory-white carriage with gold wheels stood near the gates with two white shire horses strapped to it, which when them moved caused the bells on their reigns to jingle throughout the air. The fairies brought her closer to the carriage just as the doors opened.

"Come Hermione... Come inside..." a voice echoed from the carriage. Part of Hermione knew she should turn on her heels and run, but another part of her (which was in control) told her she wanted to get into the carriage. Her hand was on the edge of the door when--

"HERMIONE!"

Harry followed behind Hermione as closely as he could without being noticed by her. He wanted to see where she was going. They had walked a couple of dark roads and seemed to get deeper into an eerie neighborhood that send shivers up his spine. Finally, he found her standing in an abandon park with numerous dead trees, the fences rotten with some of the boards missing or had graffiti all over it. It was so dark, Harry had a hard time keeping his sight on Hermione.

He noticed she paused for a moment, her head darting around and looking at it like she was seeing something amazing that he couldn't see.

"Where are we going?" She suddenly asked the air, "What do you want to show me?"

What is going on with her, he thought until he had to quickly follow her down a beat up gravel road. He took a couple more steps when his eyes widened. A tar-black carriage with two thestrals tied to it stood at the end of the road, which Hermione was walking right up to it. He could see someone sitting on the top seat with the reigns in his hands, watching Hermione walking up towards him.

"Come Hermione. Come inside." He heard the driver coaxing Hermione closer. Harry gasped. This was a trap!

"HERMIONE!" He screamed as he rushed over to get Hermione. Hermione spun around just as the driver jumped from his seat and rushed in front of her.

"CRUCIO!" The voice screamed. A pain rushed up Harry's body, causing him to collapse and began to jerking violently around in the most unbearable pain he had ever felt in his life. He gasped for air while from the corner of his eyes, he watched Hermione laughing loudly. What is going on with her, Harry thought before another shot of pain rushed through him. The pain soon vanished as the driver rushed backward towards Hermione.

"Get inside, Miss!" the driver ordered, "It is time we're off.

Hermione didn't say anything as she spun around and began heading back to the carriage and climbed in.

"Hermione!" Harry gasped, "NO!"

The driver walked over towards his seat; however, he didn't get the chance to get to it when a bunch of bright lights came soaring towards him. The driver waved his way, deflecting as much of the spells shooting at him until he suddenly vanished into thin air.

"HARRY!" Harry slowly pushed himself onto his hands and knees just as Molly came rushing over to him, "Oh my goodness! What happened?"

"Don't-- worry about-- me!" Harry was able to gasped out while Molly pulled him up to his feet, "Her-- Hermione... she's in-- she's in the carriage."

Harry glanced out to see Sirius, Snape and Arthur rushing over to the carriage, their wands drawn. Snape opened the door as he reached in and carefully reached in and gently pulled Hermione from the Carriage. She was slightly wide-eyed as glanced between the three of them before she landed on Sirius.

"Fluffy doggy." She said before petting Sirius's head.

"What is wrong with her?" Harry asked as Arthur began walking Hermione over towards them.

"It's a strong spell. It has her delirious. She sees a world that is pettier than this one, almost like she is seeing a fairy tale of some sort." Snape explained.

"Will she be alright?" Harry asked him, looking at Hermione, who was still trying to pet Sirius.

"I could whip up a potion, but  I believe this will fade before I would be able to collect all the things I would need." Snape explained to him, "For now it is best to keep her in her room and under supervision... which she might be alright given she's busying herself with the dog."

Sirius opened his mouth to say something when Arthur gave him a look to quiet him down then turned his attention towards the group.

"We better get out of this cold before we all catch our deaths." Arthur advised them.

"Arthur is right. And just in case, you should collect them in case this is a powerful spell she's under." Molly suggested to him.

"What about the guy who tried to take Hermione?" Harry asked.

"And do what, Potter? He is gone. We don't know where he had vanish off to so it is near impossible to find him." Snape sneered at him.

"But he nearly got Hermione. He drew her out of the house... there is a chance he'll try it again. And what's stopping him from trying again?" Harry asked him. Before anyone could say anything, Hermione reached out and began petting Harry's face.

"Pretty Otter... pretty otter..." She repeated, giggling silly.

"Let's go. It's not good for us to stand out here in the open when Death Eaters... and other monsters are about. We're easy targets out here." Molly told them as she took hold of Hermione's hand and began to lead her back to the House of Black.
