Hermione sat there frozen, unable to grasp what she was staring, as Harry was crying out Cedric's name. She couldn't believe it. The once lively and caring boy of Cedric Diggory was now lying lifeless on the ground. However, she didn't have time to morn when she felt something wrapping around herself. She gazed down to see vines had grabbed hold of her wrists and ankles as it made it difficult for her to move. She struggled against them, but the more she found the more there were of vines wrapping around herself.

Her attention drifted from the vines a moment when she saw Harry being lifted up into the air as then he headed towards a large headstone marked TOM RIDDLE with a grim reaper looking statue on top of it. The statue came alive as it soon held Harry by the neck with its scythe. He struggled as he cling tightly to the scythe so it didn't choke him. Suddenly the man, who had tied them up, was getting a water-filled cauldron and a large fire ready.

"You!" Harry gasped suddenly. Hermione glance as best as she could towards the man and saw it was Wormtail. He didn't say a thing to them as he kept working around with whatever he was doing. Hermione could see the bundle Wormtail had gently set on the ground was squirming around like a baby, but she knew it wasn't.

The water in the cauldron began to heat up fast till the whole surface of the water was alight with sparks now. It might have been encrusted with diamonds.

"It is ready, Master." Wormtail said.

"Now..." the cold voice from the bundle called. Wormtail jogged over to the bundle and began unwrapping it. Hermione's eyes widened as she struggled against her vines even more. The thing looked like a demonic human child. It was hairless and scaly-looking, its entire body all thin and feeble with a face so snake-like. Wormtail carried the thing over to the cauldron where he threw it in. Hermione prayed that it would drown in that pot of boiling water.

"Bone of the father, unknowingly given, you will renew your son!" Wormtail spoke as a bone floated from the grave underneath Harry and dropped into the cauldron. He then pulled out a pair of old shears as he proceeded towards Hermione. She struggled as Harry was crying over for Wormtail to leave her alone. She felt him grab a fist full of hair.

"Hair of the descendant of an Ancestor's past lover-- forcefully cut--" he grumbled as he struggled to cut a few strands of her hair. He then tossed them into the cauldron causing heavy smoke to rise. He put the shears away before pulling out a silver dagger from inside his cloak.

"Flesh-- of the servant-- w-willingly given-- you will-- revive-- your master." Wormtail whined before slicing his entire right hand off and into the pot. Hermione froze in fear until she watched him stumble towards Harry, clinging his right arm against his chest.

"B-blood of the enemy... forcibly taken... you will... resurrect your foe." Wormtail said before slicing into Harry's arm. She turned away, crying as she could hear Harry's screams of pain. Then Wormtail fumbled over to the cauldron quickly before tapping the blood drops into it. Soon Wormtail quickly rushed away as the cauldron began to boil over then be consumed in flames. Hermione watched in horror as it began melting away until floating just above where the cauldron was a body. It wiggles and thrashed around till it slowly floated down onto the ground. Shadows began to wrap him around in black robes. His head swayed a little as his hands rose around his head before slowly descending with his eyes flinging opened to reveal piercing blue eyes....

And Lord Voldemort had risen again.

Hermione whimpered in fear as she turned to look at Harry, who was returning his own gaze of fear for themselves. Voldemort walked towards Wormtail, who limped towards them.

"My wand, Wormtail." He ordered him. Wormtail fumbled to grab it till he gave it to him with a light bow. Voldemort reached down and grabbed hold of it.
