"Stay the Fuck Away from Karan!"
"You are the sole reason for all our fights!"
"For God's Sake let me peacefully with him.."

Meera Di's words kept echoing in my mind, making it difficult for me to concentrate on the work I was doing. I was now cleaning our room, changing the bed covers, removing the curtains for washing and so on. No matter how hard I try, I couldn't just forget her words and look that she had when she was accusing me of all this.. they keep on playing in the back of my mind confusing me all the more. What did she try to warn me about telling all this? Does she think that I will snatch Karan from her? Is she that insecure about her love? I accept the fact that Karan now a days is a little busy with his work..but even then accusing me like this is totally absurd! To be frank her words really hurt my feelings.. I.. I just couldn't digest that!
How can I be the root cause of all her problems? How does it even make sense? Anyways.. I can't let her be upset because of me.. I.. I need to do something.. If she wants me to stay away from Karan.. I'll certainly do that! Nothing is more important than her happiness.. I can't let her feel insecure because of my bond with Karan.. Yes, I'll distance myself from him.. maybe that can make her feel good.. may be if I do so, then Karan might pay more attention to Di.. she would feel more loved..!!

"Sir, May I come in?" there was a knock at Karan's Cabin. He allowed the person to come inside.
"Good Morning Sir" Ananya wished him with a formal smile. Karan was surprised see her there after almost two weeks. He wished her back and asked about her health.
"I am fine Sir! Thank you so much for helping me in the difficult times sir" her voice wobbled a little. He shook his head as no, gesturing her not to thank him. He said-
"Please don't embarrass me by thanking.. I did nothing big! I'm glad that I could be of some help to you" he said softly. He noticed that she has lost the glow of her face, she has become more dull and quieter than the last time he had seen her. The old chirpy Ananya was all long forgotten now and the girl standing in front of him looked entirely different except for her face. The never vanishing bright smile of hers is nowhere to been on her face today. Karan pitied looking at her broken self.
"Sir, I have given my rejoining letter in the admin department, they will be forwarding it to you soon sir." Ananya informed him. Karan nodded in agreement.
"You can resume your work from tomorrow. Ms. Renuka is currently handling your seat, you may get the details of all the two weeks' work from her and also from Aryan. I will ask her to handover the files to you immediately. You may go through them today and resume your job from tomorrow. Get my meetings schedule from her and go through that as well and recheck with the appointment timings." He gave her all the necessary instructions.
