-Karan's Cabin-
"Ananya wait" he called out as she was about to leave the room. She halted immediately and turned to look at him. He gestured the files she kept on his table.
"I'll Sign them now.. take it back with you" he said as he sat on his chair and started checking the files.
"Please have a seat till then." He said, gesturing the chair opposite to him. She nodded as she took a seat.
"Have you gone through my this week's schedule?" Karan quipped as he signed the files in front of him.
"Yes sir, I went through. You have three meetings scheduled for this week. Two with builder companies and one with a foreign delegate sir." she answered instantly.
"Sir I have also checked the appointment timings, they are all correct sir." she added.
"That's all? On which days are these meetings scheduled?" Karan inquired.
"On Thursday, Friday and Saturday sir. The foreign delegates are meeting with you and Krish sir on Friday. Other two is on the other two days."
"Friday? Oh I had a personal work on that day! Couldn't that meeting be rescheduled to some other day?" Karan asked immediately.
"Sir, I'm not sure since its foreign investors meetings, but I'll try my best to reschedule it."
"Hmm.. fine" he sighed and passed on all the files back to her after signing them. She took all the files from him and stood up from her place, when he suddenly asked-
"Ananya, after passing on these files to the respective departments, please ask Advait to bring Mr. Mehra's file from archives section."
"Sure, sir. I'll inform" she replied and with that she took her leave from there, leaving Karan to his own thoughts.
Karan's POV
I totally forgot about the meeting! Its on this Friday.! Oh god, Meera has reminded me so many times not to have any commitments on that day... Oh God how will I make her understand this?
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
There was a knock in my door yet again, within a few minutes, and I called the person in. To my surprise, it was yet again Ananya. She walked in with a worried face and I was concerned.
"Ananya? What happened?" I asked, trying not to sound too concerned.
"Sir, I just now remembered, Advait is on leave today. I'm sorry sir, forgot to inform you earlier." she said panting slightly.
"Oh is it? That's why you came back running here once again with all these files? Just to inform me this?" I asked a little surprised.
"Yes Sir, I shouldn't keep you waiting" she answered politely. Her answer truly surprised me. In between all those people who leave others hanging for replies, she was a person who valued very second for her time as well as mine.
"Okay, I myself will get it from there" I said and was about to go, when she stopped me all of a sudden and asked permission to come along with me.
