Board games on the bus were a common thing. Spending days in the air waiting for anything to happen on land without anything to do was not appealing to the team. For that reason, they were all in the common area playing different board games.
On one side were Skye and Ward playing battleship, a game that did not match with the usual training of the agent yet he assured everyone it was important for the development of both Skye and Hazel. At the small group table were Hazel, Fitz, and Simmons with Uno cards in their hand each -Fitz appearing to have more cards than the other two.
"Take two, ha!" Fitz exclaimed putting down the card and glancing at Hazel.
"Oh, no...whatever will I do," Hazel sighed looking at the two cards she still held. "Uno," the blonde stated as she placed another take two, a small smile appearing on her face as she did so.
Simmons groaned as she realized her fate thanks to Fitz's confident move. "Dammit, Fitz! I told you the plus four was a better idea," the doctor complained as she grabbed the four cards she needed.
"Well, I didn't have it because I threw it earlier when you told me you could back me up," Fitz complained as he looked at the cards debating his move.
"I'm sorry, you guys are teaming up against me?" Hazel asked, eyes wide with surprise not believing the betrayal she was going through.
"Considering you have won at least three times now," Simmons started explaining as Fitz placed a matching colored card onto the pile. "Yes, we are teaming up against you."
"Great strategy, it needs work though," Hazel mentioned smiling as she placed her last card which matched in color with the one on the pile. "I win, again."
Fitz and Simmons both groaned, slumping down on their seats as Hazel reached for the bowl of pretzels taking one for herself.
From the table that Ward and Skye were playing at Hazel was able to hear the brunette's victory exclamation.
"All right, best 2 out of 3," Ward suggested as he leaned forward to reset the board they were playing on before he could however Fitz and Simmons made identical disagreeing noises to having Skye play with Ward again.
"No no, I won fair and square, beside I don't think Fitz and Simmons are too keen on playing another round of Uno with Hazel," Skye retorted pointing a finger towards the agent before glancing towards the scientists.
Before anything else could be done or said an alarm started blaring through the bus letting the whole team know they were getting a new mission for the day.
"Well, no time to fight about it now," Hazel said with a small shrug of shoulders before she leaned towards the table and picked up the cards before she headed towards the briefing room.
