With the trip to Seville, the team learned about the myth of the Asgardian warrior. Also known as Berserkers, what had been taken from the tree back in Norway had turned out to be part of a staff that fueled the anger of those who touched it giving them super strength. This new information spurted multiple sarcastic comments from Hazel who of course could not believe their luck in getting put into this mission.
"People are weird. . ." Hazel muttered looking through the messages that she and Skye were looking through. "To say the least."
They stood in the briefing room, as usual, using the holocom to monitor the crazy anger-fueled people and find Viking routes where another piece of the staff could be hidden.
". . .Our agents on the ground haven't found a thing. What about you two?" Coulson asked walking inside the briefing room with Ward behind him.
"Nymstom's deep-web message boards are just abuzz with psychos," Skye answered pointing towards the holocom which displayed the chatroom's messages. "They believe they're gonna ascend to be the Gods of destruction and death. People suck, sir"
Ward furrowed his eyebrows, looking at the brunette as he stood across from her. "That's your progress, ''people suck''?"
Hazel looked up from her side of the holocom, glancing towards Skye who didn't really seem fazed at the comment. "These people do. And there's also chatter about going underground."
At that information, Ward glanced at Coulson offering his opinion. "Could be going incognito or-"
"Or searching for the next piece," Coulson interrupted already understanding what the specialist suggested.
Ward then turned towards Hazel, an expectant look on his face. "Randolph said to check Viking routes. Find any others?"
Hazel nodded, moving to stand by Skye as she pulled up a map on the holocom. "There are some sites along the Volga River in Russia, some in Kiev, and weirdly, here."
As she spoke, the blonde pointed out the places she was mentioning. With the last one, she held down on the holocom zooming in on the location.
"In Seville, Spain?" Coulson asked unsure of the discovery.
"Well, it's a long shot, but Vikings sacked Seville twice," Hazel answered with a hopeful tone in her voice.
Backing her up, Agent May walked inside the room. "We found promising locations with Viking relics, El Divino Niño. A church was built on the ruins of an 8th-century crypt built on Roman ruins from 206 B.C."
