Alexandria, VA

With precision and carefulness, Hazel landed on the floor of the hangar. Skye landed right beside her and raised a hand to her ear.

"We've got ears on them. The package is in the open," Skye mutters through her earpiece. Hazel skillfully detached herself from the rope she had just dropped down with.

"Don't engage until the deal's done," May's voice comes through the girl's earpieces. From her right side, Skye cocks the night-night gun that she was holding, Hazel loading her own.

"Copy that," Hazel responded quietly as both girls got into position, the rumbling of the storm outside helping to hide all of their movements and noises they could be both making.

Agents Trip and May stood from a higher spot, staying as a backup for the mercenaries as they watched from a S.H.I.E.L.D. camera that allowed them to see and hear the deal that an ex-S.H.I.E.L.D. agent was making with three mercenaries.

Hazel watched as the mercenaries asked why the deal was worth it. Everything went well until a third guard was brought to everyone's attention.

"I only brought two guards," the man muttered, confused.

A taller man stepped up from behind him, quickly knocking down the two guards they had agreed upon before snapping the agent's neck. Gunshots ran through the room as everyone stepped into action. The mercenaries shot their guns, which seemed to bounce off the man. The agents dropped from their hiding spots, May and Skye shooting the leftover guards with their night-night guns as Trip and Hazel ran to where the jacked-up man had run out of.

Hazel lifted her tracker gun momentarily, attempting to tag the man, but she did not see anybody as she stared out the door.

"What the hell are you doing here?" The woman asked when she saw May and Skye lowering their weapons.

"Who was that?" A man with the mercenaries questioned, his face twisted in concern as he looked at the agents.

"A third party," May answered, annoyed, as she stepped up to the group of three with Skye by her side.

"A party, is that what you'd call that?" the guy asked, still surprised as he looked at the two agents.

"He's gone," Trip announced from Hazel's side. "25-foot drop."

Hazel made her way back to the group, her guns back in place within her gear as she watched Skye kneel beside some metal shards on the floor. Curiously, Hazel crouched down and used a container to scoop them up.

"This was supposed to be an undercover operation," the woman says as she places her handgun into the back of her jeans. "You want to explain why you're shadowing us?"
