Chapter 27 - Humiliation

Wei Wuxian, Jiang Cheng, Lan Wangji and Jin Zixuan, along with Wen Chao and his man and the other cultivator enter into a cave that Wei Wuxian have found. They all walk along a steep edge where you can fall over if you miss a step. As they all walk through the cave, Mian Mian almost fall off the edge of the road that they are walking on. Jin Zixuan saved Mian Mian just in time before she fall completely down the cliff.

"Are you alright?" Mian Mian nodded her head.

Wen Chao went toward Mian Mian and Jin Zixuan with a angry expression on his face, he took out his whip, just as he is about to hit Mian Mian, Jin Zixuan block Wen Chao rope with his arm.

"I have great disappointment in my son. He has humiliated my sect in my name! I know what I did was terrible but I never would allow him to treat people like this, especially women," Wen Ruohan stated.

"He is an idiot," Jiang Cheng spat, "sent us there with no weapons, and he expected us to do his bidding? Asshole."

"Well said," Wei Wuxian said finally waking up, "I see I woke at an interesting time."

"How are you feeling?" Baoshan asked.

"Numb," Wei Wuxian answered looking up at Lan Zhan, "but not completely, I can still feel comfort from my husband."

Lan Zhan loved hearing Wei Ying calling him 'his husband.' It warmed his heart and created such a lovable warming feeling in his body. He leaned down and kissed the top of his head.

"Good to see you awake," Lan Zhan told him, "but take your time to adjust. I'm in no hurry to sit up or move."

"But, can we sit up?" Wei Wing asked.

Lan Zhan smiled with a nod. Wei Ying careful sat up and moved off Lan Zhan. The two sat side by side with Wei Ying leaning against Lan Zhan, and Lan Zhan with his arm around him, snuggling close.

"Wen Chao, what do you think you are doing?!" Jin Zixuan shouted at Wen Chao with anger on his voice.

"What did I just do? What did I just do? Why in the world did you have to yell like that? If that monster hear us, this will be your fault!" Lan Wangji can't handle listen to Wen Chao big mouth, he end up walking away from
there.

Jin Zixuan stood in front of Mian Mian to protect her, "You bring us here, without our weapons. You call this a night hunt? Then tell me, what in the world is this monster like? Tell us something before we leave for a night hunt?"

"Why in the world should I inform you? Let me tell you all this, everyone in here are just a ant beneath Qishan Wen clan feet. Then one in command is me, not you. Don't tell me what to do? You got that!"

Wei Wuxian also got tire of listen to Wen Chao big mouth, when he turn around to look for Lan Wangji, he notices that Lan Wangji isn't there. He look around him, to the front, that is where he see Lan Wangji at the end of the road. Wei Wuxian walk up to Lan Wangji, just as he is about to take another step, he grab onto Lan Wangji arm. Jiang Cheng grab his other arm before he can fall to the abyss below them.

"Yes, this it is, is down there!" Wen Chao sound very happy that they have found the place where the monster is living.

"It look bottomless. We don't even know what this monster look like. You didn't even tell us clearly about it. How in the world do we get down there?!"

Wei Wuxian look down at the bottomless abyss. Wen Chao push Jiang Cheng aside, he got near Wei Wurian, that is when he push Wei Wuxian down to the bottomless abyss.
