Wei Wuxian helped apply the medical herbs to Lan Wangji's injured leg, causing a hiss to break from his mouth, "I know it hurts Lan Zhan. but please try to bare with it," Wei Ying told him.
Lan Wangji took a glance at the burn mark on Wei Wuxian's chest, causing a stinging sensation to brush against his heart. He knows Wei Wuxian is in pain from the burn, but he isn't going to use any of the herbs on himself. Lan Wangji knew that, so he had to find a way to get some on him.
Lan Wangji grabbed Wei Wuxian by the wrist, stopping him, "what is it? Doesn't it hurt?" Wei Wuxian asked.
Without saying a word, Lan Wangji took some of herbs and placed it on Wei Wuxian's burn mark on his chest, "That hurt, Lan Zhan!"
"Your welcome."
This got Wei Wuxian to laugh a little, while rubbing his chest, "Lan Zhan, you now know how to tease me back."
"If you know that it will cause you pain, don't be rash next time."
"You think I wanted to do that? That Wang Lingjiao is a venomous woman, and that girl, Mian Mian, she's quite pretty right? If that iron imprinted on her face for the rest of her life, it will make her life miserable."
"You know that mark on your body won't disappear for the rest of your life either, right?"
"What is the differences? As long as it is not on my face that is. Besides I am a man, a man should get some scars on their body sometimes. Also, I know that this mark will be with me forever, it will remind me that I have protected a maiden, this maiden will never forget about me for the rest of her life. Lan Wangji turn to look away from Wei Wuxian, "if you don't mean it, then don't flirt with anyone else."
Wei Wuxian too look away from Lan Wangj, "your not the one I am flirting with anyway?" He turn back to get close to Lan Wangji while saying, "I see..."
Lan Wangji turn back to look at Wei Wurian, "you see what?"
"Lan Zhan, do you like Mian Mian?"
'Wei Ying, how dense can you get? Can't you understand my feelings for you?'

"Hey! I'm sorry I'm stupid okay," Wei Ying said pouting.
"Look at you pouting again," Lan Zhan teased as he lightly tugged on Wei Ying's bottom lip.
Wei Ying pulled his head away from his hand, "I have a right too, you know what it's like to live as a smart but dense idiot? It's a hard life, you try it," he complained.
Others couldn't help but laugh. Wei Wuxian doesn't really like to admit that he is dense or stupid but he was in a dark corner. Seeing himself that dumb made him feel so embarrassed. He couldn't handle it, so he moved off of Lan Zhan's lap and sat on the other side of the couch they sat on. Lan Zhan suddenly grew concerned as he noticed Wei Ying move away from him.
