minho woke up that morning to a peaceful silence.
last night everyone had gone to sleep in the early hours of the morning. once the film had finished, hyunjin had brought up a debate topic and no one was ready to back down.
as minho rubbed his eyes, he saw a black hooded figure sitting upright on his phone.
"...chan?" minho yawned as he slowly stretched, careful not to wake jeongin on the other side of the mattress.
chan turned his body and nodded at minho.
"are we doing waffles or pancakes for breakfast, chan?"
chan stood up and walked to the kitchen, gesturing his hand up for minho to follow him.leaning on the island, he ran a hand through his long wavy hair and let out a small yawn.
"well changbin, hyunjin, and jeongin prefer waffles and the rest of us like pancakes. i was thinking we make both and everyone can choose which they want."
minho let out a small hum before beginning to gather the ingredients for them both to make the food.
"so how you feeling minho? i noticed that before we went to sleep you seemed a little spaced out." chan briefly glanced to minho who had lightly shrugged.
"there was a lot to take in wasn't there?" he chuckled as he continued to stir the pancake batter.
chan smirked, "how was the nap with jisung, hmm?" minho rolled his eyes as he watched chan close the waffle toaster lid.
"i'll be honest, it was...confusing." minho sighed as he turned his attention back to finishing up the pancakes, "i mean, i loved getting to hold him like that, but it's a shame because...he isn't mine to hold like that."
chan took out the waffles and plated them on the island before patting minho's shoulders.
"well, try not to think too much about it in that way. instead, focus on the fact that jisung felt comfortable with you, as his friend, to be able to fall asleep with you...you know how much he hates sleeping alone."
minho nodded as he thought back to jeongin's comment- how jisung really did feel most comfortable with him,
"i know." minho sighed as chan bumped his shoulder after lifting down a few extras for the waffles. "was it a good cuddle at least?"
minho tried to bite back his smile as he nodded. "it was the best." he answered as he felt his stomach flip.
back in the living room, seungmin had just woken up.
he looked around and smiled as jeongin was asleep on the floor. he grabbed a pillow from behind his head and hit the youngest over the head.
jeongin jolted awake as his eyes slowly adjusted to the light coming through the window. he was about to retaliate and hit seungmin back when his eyes widened as he realised the sweet smell coming from the kitchen.
seungmin nodded to him and turned to nudge hyunjin who was sprawled out on the couch.
"hyunjin wake up changbin. they've made waffles." hyunjin slowly opened his eyes and stretched his arms out over his head.
he lightly kicked changbin before the 4 of them walked through to the kitchen, leaving two boys still cuddled together on the other side of the couch.
jisung's eyes slowly fluttered open as he realised only him and felix were left in the room.
"hey lix?" he gently rubbed felix's back as he felt his best friend snuggle further into his chest "...morning sungie."
jisung remembered back to yesterday and how he had immediately felt so embarrassed to wake up like he did with minho.
instead, he reminded himself of what minho had said, it was true that him and his friends were usually very affectionate with each other.
however, it would still take sometime for jisung to get used to being affectionate with them again. for months now he had been spending so much time with his boyfriend, he almost forgot what it was like.
felix shuffled off of jisung and the two walked hand in hand to the kitchen, jisung walked over to changbin's side while felix took his usual spot on top of the island.
"felix, get off." seungmin groaned as the blonde was too close to his plate of food for his liking.
felix pouted and slid off the counter, making sure to take his sweet time as seungmins gaze was almost burning into him.
"pancakes or waffles, ji?"chan smiled as he watched the younger walk over to him.
"pancakes, please chan." he yawned as he softly rubbed his eyes with the back of his hand.
he thanked chan as he was handed a plate and walked round to take a seat next to hyunjin, the two of them beginning a random conversation.
minho was sat opposite and couldn't help but fawn over how adorable jisung looked, how his face was slightly puffy as well as the way his cheeks looked when he ate.
"so!" jeongin exclaimed. "mini golf today?" everyone nodded as chan cleared his throat, "i'm assuming everyone has what they need? me and minho were planning to each drive 4 to the site."
everyone finished up their food as they continued to discuss their final bets of the wining order.
after they had handed their plates to minho, who had offered to rinse them, everyone fanned out to begin getting themselves ready for the day ahead.
