chapter forty five

pretty soon, the end of the day arrived and jisung had met with his friends to walk out of the building towards the car park.

"i am so glad it's the weekend." hyunjin sighed as he slung his arms around chan.

jeongin turned round from walking with minho and seungmin and nodded, "just think, only a few more days in school and then we finish for winter break!"

jisung and changbin were walking together behind an almost skipping felix, the pair were in light conversation as they talked about their plans for the weekend.

suddenly felixs body froze as he looked out at the car park.

everyone was confused why felix had stopped walking. they stopped behind him and waited for him to explain what was going on.

"j-ji...?" felix gulped as he slowly turned round to the other blonde. "i-i thought you said you weren't with won-jae last night?"

jisung was confused, he walked forward to felix and looked over his face.

the boy's expression was unreadable as there were clearly too many emotions to decipher.

"what?" jisung asked. "i wasn't with him...the last time i saw him was around lunch time on thursday?"

hyunjin had looked to the car park and was now aware of what had caused felix's reaction.

felix covered his mouth at jisung's answer and looked to changbin as tears were pooling in his eyes.

"lix?" changbin looked over his face with nothing but concern as he still had no idea what was going on.

felix only shook his head and stared back at jisung as he began to cry.

"felix what is it!?" jisung raised his voice. panic running through his body as his best friend was now crying for a reason he still didn't know.

while jisung was staring at felix, hyunjin caught the rest of the groups eye before
gesturing over to the car park.

seungmin and jeongin's jaw dropped in shock while changbin and minho looked like they could burst in anger.

jisung had his hands on felix's shoulder as the younger was still unable to speak, tears streaming down his face while jisung was the only one who didn't know.

he turned to the group and was about to ask for help when he noticed they were all staring at the same thing.

jisung followed their eyes and turned his attention to the car park.

he slowly walked around felix so he could see what was going on.

"ji, wait-" changbin called but it was too late as jisung saw what they were looking at.

won-jae was leaning on his car scrolling on his phone. his hair was messy and there were dark purple hickeys covering his neck.

the group were stood in silent shock as no one knew what to say.

felix was currently being comforted by hyunjin as he was still crying while minho and changbin were stood side by side as both were at a loss for words.

they all stared at jisung, the boy had been stood in silence until he suddenly began to walk forward.

"ji-" chan lightly grabbed his hand before jisung quickly turned round and placed his other hand gently over chan's.

"no no, chan please don't." he whispered.

he slowly removed chan's hand and took a step back from his friends.

"don't wait up for me...please."

minho felt like vomiting as his stomach was in knots. he wasn't sure whether to be furious because of won-jae or if he was about to break down in tears because of jisung.

the group watched as jisung reached his boyfriend.

won-jae shut off his phone and greeted jisung with a wide smile. he leant down to kiss him yet was confused as jisung placed his hands on his chest to stop him.

jisung lifted his hand up and softly grabbed won-jae's chin to turn it as he stared over his neck.

won-jae looked anything but apologetic as he lifted his hands to cover them and began to speak.

the group couldn't hear or work out what was being said. they only stared at jisung as he kept a blank face while listening.

after won-jae was finished, jisung slightly pushed him out the way of the door before getting into the car without saying a word to him.

won-jae dropped his head back in frustration as he ran a hand through his hair and walked over to the drivers side, slamming the door once he had climbed in.

as they drove off, the group all turned to look each other while felix was sat with hyunjin on a bench.

"i can't believe it." felix sobbed as he rested his hands in his hair. changbin sat down on his other side as he brought felix into his chest.

"chan..." jeongin's voice wavered. "what are we doing to do?"

chan sighed as he walked over and wrapped his arms around the youngest before turning back to the group.

"unfortunately, there's nothing we can do." he said softly. "we just have to hope jisung is okay."

"are you fucking kidding me, chan!?" minho scoffed. "either jisung is going to forgive him and won-jae will do it again, or he'll beat jisung up for being annoyed about it."

minho's body was almost trembling, he didn't know if it was anger or if his body was trying to fight back tears.

"i'm...im sorry..." he sighed. "i just...i can't believe he'd fucking do that."

"tell you what." chan began to propose as he held jeongin's shoulders and looked around the group. "let's go back to mine and minho's, we'll talk about it there."

they all nodded as they headed towards the car park and began to make their way back to the pairs house.

minho had driven alone, needing the drive to himself so he could try and process everything that had just happened.

he just hoped that jisung would be physically okay.
