chapter fifty

the eight friends were now headed to mini golf.

dohyun had opted for driving jisung and the pair had been sat in the car park waiting for the arrival of minho.

once the familiar car came into view, dohyun turned to his son. "don't forget to say hello to everyone for me." he smiled as he smoothed back jisung's hair.

"i won't, dad, don't worry." jisung answered as he leant forward and gave his dad a hug before getting out the car.

he waved to him as he drove away and walked to minho's car as the other friends walked around to join him.

"sungie!" felix beamed as he hugged jisung tight, yet still careful not to possibly hurt his arm.

"so," chan announced. "we ready to play!?"

after a long tiring game, the group were now back in the café.

"who would have thought hyunjin would make the comeback of the century and place second behind me!?" changbin teased as he took a sip of his drink.

"i still can't believe you missed every other hole jisung! you took like 25 shots at the windmill." jeongin scoffed as jisung rolled his eyes.

"hello!?" he pointed at his arm "big disadvantage over here?"

seungmin stared at him. "yeah but that's your left arm...you're right handed."

everyone laughed as jisung slumped back in his seat trying to refrain from smiling.

"i think we need to address lix coming last." changbin smiled as he wrapped his arms about his pouting boyfriend before a playful argument broke out between them.

minho felt his phone buzz as he lifted it out his pocket.

minho smiled and slid his phone across the table to chan, "you still okay to drop everyone off though?" chan asked as he handed back the phone. "i don't think everyone can fit in my car."

"no it's okay," minho smiled. "i'll take seungmin and hyunjin back again no problem. jisung enjoyed the karaoke session with them."

chan shuddered, "i'm so glad i'm not in your car."

the pair joined back in the conversation as felix and jisung were still trying to defend themselves against the persistent teasing.

minho had finished dropping hyunjin and seungmin home and was now driving towards jisungs house.

"i missed mini golf so much." jisung sighed as he turned back to look out the window.

"really?" minho smirked. "even after you playing so badly?" he received a small dig in the arm as jisung huffed.

"whatever, i'll just assume it's revenge for me tackling you in football."

minho tried not to blush as he turned onto jisungs driveway.

"i'm so happy my parents wanted to you to stay for dinner, min." jisung smiled. "i mean they love seeing everyone but i guess my dad always had some sort of soft spot for you."

jisung and minho shared a smile as they climbed out the car and neared the porch.

"hello hello!" jisung called out as he opened the front door.
