jisungs parents had happily accepted meeting won-jae, and were now stood on their front porch, awaiting their arrival.
won-jae smoothly parked his porsche on jisung's driveway, stopped jisung from getting out, and walked around the front of his car to open jisung's door for him.
dohyun and jia sent a sly smile to each other as they watched jisung jokingly roll his eyes as he stepped out the car.
jisung took his boyfriend's hand and brought him up to the porch to his parents.
"mum, dad," jisung beamed, "this is my boyfriend, won-jae."
"pleasure to meet you both." he respectfully bowed his head before firmly shaking each of their hands.
jia smirked at jisung as she had looked over won-jaes tall frame, "well i can see why jisung talks about you so much! what a handsome young man."
won-jae let out a small chuckle as he lightly shook his head, "you're much too kind ma'am."
jis flicked down her wrist as she held a slightly disapproving expression, "please darling just call me jia, this is my husband dohyun."
dohyun gave him a small smile before looking back in awe at the porsche on his driveway.
"is that car yours!?"
jia slightly elbowed his chest as jisung could only stifle a laugh.
"in a way," won-jae nodded with a grin. "my parents gifted me it when i passed my driving test."
jisung nodded as he cuddled into his boyfriends side, "his parents are both lawyers and live in the south east."
jisungs parents nodded before jia gestured to the door, "shall we go inside?"
everyone nodded in response and walked into the house. the four of them sat on the couch with jisung and won-jae together, while dohyun and jia sat opposite.
"so, how long have you been together now?" jia asked as she looked between them.
"coming up 7 months now," won-jae smiled as he undetectably brought his arm around jisung, "we met at a mutual friends party."
jisung had been friends with daehyas sister yihwa and had been invited to her birthday party without knowing what would come of it.
his friend group weren't acquainted with either sister and so hadn't gone along, leaving jisung to spend time with his other friends.
won-jae's best friend was dating daehya at the time and so naturally had been invited.
at the party, the pair had taken an immediate interest in each other, hitting it off instantly and getting together only a few weeks later.
"oh lovely!" jia beamed. "we hear you're quite the party and concert type."
jisung froze.
"yeah, i guess you could say that." won-jae slowly answered, trying to hide his confusion of why jisung had tensed next to him.
"mum?" jisung said quickly, "i really want to show won-jae my room...you don't mind do you?"
jia shook her head. "no of course not darling." she replied before looking to won-jae. "would you like to stay for dinner?"
before won-jae could answer jisung stood up and took his hand.
"no, we'll be having dinner at jae's." his eyes didn't leave from jia's. "jae only came back yesterday so he probably wants to clean out his fridge."
won-jae attempted to keep a smile even though he was still confused why jisung was acting so strange.
he really didn't like it.
