minho had driven into school that morning feeling nothing but relief as he knew jisung had been safe for the night.
changbin however, could not be more on edge.
he was sat at his usual spot on the bench, relentlessly bouncing his legs as he could only hope to soon catch a glimpse of jisung.
minho walked up the path and felt confused as he looked over changbin, "what? what is it?" he quickly asked.
"jisung didn't go home minho..." changbin nervously spoke. "i texted his parents to see how he was holding up, but they told me he wasn't home...fucks sake minho, he still went to won-jae's house."
minho felt his stomach turn.
"b-but won-jae went out? he'd have been alone so why did he go?"
"he wanted to make sure won-jae got home safe." changbin replied as minho began to fear the worst.
the two snapped their heads to the car park as they heard a slight screech of car tires.
their faces dropped as won-jae dragged jisung out of the car before they saw how he looked.
he was almost trembling as he cried yet won-jae continued to drag him into the building as he kept a tight grip on his wrist.
"he doesn't have a class anywhere near jisung, plus there's 20 minutes before lessons even start!" minho said as the pair looked at each other in fear.
"i don't like this at all, minho. i think we should follow them."
minho nodded as they quickly ran into the building.
they were able to follow won-jae without being detected, cringing every time they heard jisung cry out in pain from the tight grip on his wrist.
won-jae pulled jisung towards the gym he knew was out of use till third period.
he kicked the door open with too much force causing it to bounce back, meaning changbin and minho could hear everything being said.
"jae please stop." jisung spoke in a hoarse voice. "you're hurting me."
won-jae finally let him go as he snatched his hand off his wrist.
"please, just listen to me." jisung begged as he rubbed his wrist to ease the pain.
"i-i needed to make sure you got home safe. i don't understand why you'd go to soomi's and let yourself drink that much."
won-jae towered over him as he harshly poked his chest.
"you don't think i can handle myself do you? jisung, i'm not pathetic, i know how much i can tolerate."
jisung's tears didn't stop as he shook his head, "no you don't! you came home after 3am and could barely stand up, i-i can't bare seeing you like that."
won-jae threw his arms out to the side as he raised his voice.
"then why the fuck did you come to my house!? you knew i'd be drinking and yet all you did was get in my way!"
"i didn't!" jisung cried. "you caught me because i tried to help you off the floor...you can't let yourself drink that much."
jisung staggered back as won-jae slowly walked up to him with an intense scowl.
"you, of all people, are not going to tell me how much i can or can't drink."
"m-me of all people?" jisung asked in a whisper. "what the fuck does that me-"
